The Ko Report - Edition #5 Bad Guys (Part 2)

Bad Guys. In the Star Wars Galaxy, one naturally turns their thoughts to Assassins, pirates, smugglers, slavers, spice lords and even bounty hunters when thinking of the nefarious and nasty of the Universe. It is the same in our SWF Roleplaying galaxy - in no other concentration can be found a more notorious lot than within the organizations of The Black Sun, The Black Nebula and the Black Bloods. In this edition of the Ko Report, I will attempt to provide a general overview of these Organizations. If you are thinking of joining our community and your character is a little odd, a little dark and fond of groups that start with "The Black" in their name - then you have come to the right place!



The Black Sun

Lead by the beautiful and greedy Cizerack Vigo, Sasseeri Reeouurra, The Black Sun is by far the best known of the three Criminal Cartel's that ply their trade throughout the galaxy.
Headquartered in the Imperial Center (Coruscant), their operations and influence are far reaching.

Sasseerri's holdings are many and varied, her interests as prolific as her appetites. She is, perhaps, most famous for her many of Casino's that operate in such centers of opportunity as Cloud City, Nar Shadda and even Thyferra.

Leaders within the Black Sun are trusted employee's Kal Olorin, Michael Cline and most recently Chir'daki - men who, despite the incongruity of being scum and villians, are proving loyal to Reeouurra and are quickly rising in power within the Organization.

The Black Nebula

After years of an uneasy truce between herself and Sasseeri Reeouurra (both Vigo's of the Black Sun Organization), Sorsha Kasajian decided it was time for a new course and split from beneath the Black Sun umbrella, taking her holdings and personell with her. Having founded the Black Nebula, this now means both women are free to pursue their own best interests for their respective Organziations.

Kasajian has her home base on Iskaayuma, on Rodia, but most people 'in the know' will be able to contact one of her many offices on Coruscant, Kuat, and Tatooine.

The changes, however, do not end with the split from Black Sun. With Sorsha's recent appointment as Hand to the Empress Miranda Tarkin, leadership of the Nebula has fallen to an unlikely individual, the Duro - OW Outcast. One upheaval after another is not good for any business and with the riff-raff that populates the Nebula Organization, one can only speculate on the impact such changes will have. Is there honor among thieves or will any one of the members of the BN take the opportunity to assert their own ambitions?

The Black Bloods

Comprising mostly, but not exclusively, of pirates and misfits - this fringe group is united together in a pseudo-family by an enterprising individual named Kvettch, a mutant Ewok who all but stumbled into his life as a notorious pirate. Sound too good to be true? Ive only just begun.

They have a secret orbital space station called "Camp Grenchicit" somewhere near Nar Shadda where, for a small fee, you can take advantage of the obscurity and lay low for a while much like they do. The Black Bloods also have their own Cantina, complete with Hutt Operator (Blarga...the name speaks volumes) who can offer you all the comforts of home. But, at the center of their operations is the Vibre Class Assault Vessel, "Voodoo Heart" which conducts them in their various enterprises throught the Core Worlds and Deep Space.

While the Black Bloods operate as a unit, they are not shy in taking on adventures of a more personal nature, popping up in the most unlikely of places.

IMPORTANT UPDATE: The Black Bloods are currently imprisoned on Kessel and the future of their organzation looks uncertain at best.

As you can see, there are plenty of Bad Guys to go around, and this report by no means covers all of them. As you can also see, Bad is not limited to Guys alone - the female population holds a lions share of villiany amongst us and some of the worst out there are some of the 'fairest' out there also. If you cast your lot with the wicked, there is a place for you in any one of these Organizations.
