Re: Looking for Fett's Room
"Well, when you are used to being on your own, another person around can be inconvenient or bothersome. But I will be sure not to get in the way.
And thankyou again, I think this will really help me to settle in. Plus too, you will be right on hand for me to ply you with the many questions I have."

Estelle was satisfied with that.
Whatever Fett was willing to explain and teach her was
fine with her. She had much to learn and a long road ahead
of her

She picked up her small pack that held all she owned
and got off the couch.
Walking across the room to short hallway and a door to
the right, "Is this the room?"

:: Getting up, Fett walk over to her, and opened the door. Inside, the room was neat, aside from two boxes in the room. Takign them out into a cupboard.
"Yeah, this is yours. Everything in here you can use" He said to her. ::

Re: Looking for Fett's Room
Estelle thought the room perfect. It was moderately furnished, but had all that was necessary for her to be comfortable.
A bed to one side, a large chest over against the far wall
with about five drawers. And a big, deep, heavily stuffed chair in the corner, which she was certain she could completely curl up in and still have room to spare.
She turned to Fett as he still returned to the doorway as she looked around. "This will be perfect. Im very grateful."

Re: Looking for Fett's Room
Estelle couldnt beleive how lucky she had been since her arrival at Arcan IV.
So far, the Jedi she had met had made her so welcome - Force Master Hunter, Jedi Master Leia Solo, and of course ReaperFett. His accepting her as padawan was so much more than she had dared to hope when she had left T'r Nuva. The fact that anyone would take her as a student seemed a stretch in her sitting around the family table in her country home. But now, standing here in this room, she felt an overwhelming sense of being in the right place. She could sense her destiny unfolding.
"I will be sure to come to you, Master, should I need anything."
She stopped for a moment. "Well, actually, I do need training, as you know. Lots of it. I have requested to join the NRSF. I guess it would help if I atleast knew how to fire a blaster or something. Ive never even seen one up close."

:: Fett stayed motionless for a moment, deep in thought. After a moment, he reached into a draw, and brought out a small blaster.
"This is a DL-22. Low powered blaster. Take a look" He said, ahnding her the pistol. ::

She took it from his hand and held it, examining it curiously, not realising she had it pointed directly at Fetts chest.

Re: Looking for Fett's Room
:: Looking slightly concerned, but still holding a smile, Fett slowly sidestepped the guns aim, and walked to the window. Seeing a rock on a wall, he walked over to his Padawan, and pointed to it.
"Right, see if you can hit that rock. All you have to do is aim the barrel at it, and squeeze the trigger. Try it" He said, subconciesley stepping back ::

Re: Looking for Fett's Room
She looked at Fett..then the rock..then the gun.
I hope no one is wandering around out there
she thought to herself.
Estelle approached the window, and taking the blaster in
both hands tried to get a comfortable hold on it - but even
though she shifted her fingers a number of times, the
weapon still felt awkward.
She sighed a little in frustration as she felt Fett's eyes on her. He being an expert she feel her awkwardness ampliphied.

Re: Looking for Fett's Room
Estelle nodded as Fett placed her fingers properly on
the blaster and stared ahead at the rock on the wall,
trying to will the line of fire to the object she was looking
at.
She chewed unconsciously on her lip and squeezed the
trigger, reactively closing her eyes as the shot fired off.
When she opened them, she saw a nice new hole in the middle of the wall...no where near the target rock.
She spun around though, gun still in hand and was grinning
at Fett. "Well, that was fun!"

Re: Looking for Fett's Room
Taking another deep breath, Estelle lined up her sight again, pistol held firmly in both hands as before. It still felt strange.
Focusing again on the target, she squeezed the trigger.
Again she shut her eyes as it fired off. Again there was another new hole in the outside wall, and the target rock
sitting undisturbed as before.
She turned apologetically to Fett, "This is gonna take me
some getting used to, Im afraid."

Re: Looking for Fett's Room
Estelle handed Fett back the weapon.
"Its late, and I've taken up too much of your night already.
Maybe I can practice some more at the Academy training
grounds, if you think that is a good idea."
She bent to pick up her small back of belongings and placed
it on the bed.
"I should probably get some sleep now. And you can maybe
get some more now too." She smiled at him.
