It is a time of peril throughout
the whole Galaxy. The Sith and
Imperials commit unspeakable crimes,
at the same time tightening their
grip on the Galaxy. The New Republic
and the Jedi work to maintain peace
and sanity, hoping to fend off the
forces of evil.


Numerous Pirate and Terrorist attacks
have occured along different trade
routes and Hyperspace lanes. As the
result of these attacks, many shipments
of supplies and food for outlying star
systems are destroyed and never reach
their destination.


Finally realizing this growing problem,
the Jedi Council has assigned missions
to various Jedi Knights and Padawans.
A certain Jedi, by the name of Nichos Marr,
purposely left the convoy he was assigned
to. The Jedi heard the Force call him
elsewhere. Now he flies alone, across the
Rimma Trade Route. Little does he know
that danger lies ahead.

[Nichos Marr]

A lone X-Wing flying through the calm and quiet space. This X-Wing belonged to Nichos Marr, a Jedi Padawan. He had been flying with a convoy of New Republic ships, searching for Pirate and Smuggling vessels. Oddly enough, a small voice inside of his head called him to his present location.

Staring out of his viewports, Nichos couldn't understand why the Force had sent him away from the convoy. Nichos couldn't see anything. He closed his eyes and reached out with the Force. He felt nothing at all.

"The Force works in mysterious ways," Master Warren had once told him, "You must learn to trust it."

Nichos did trust it. He risked getting in trouble by New Republic officials by leaving the convoy. And now he could see nothing.

To his surprise, his sensors turned red. A dreadnaught and two uglies emerged from Hyperspace before him. Nichos began to charge up his lasers. He raised his shields and energy.

"Artoo, make those two Uglies primary targets. They're moving in to engage," Nichos shouted.

The droid replied with a whistle. The Uglies were now in shooting range. Nichos swerved to the left avoiding laserfire. The enemy ships had begun to attack. Nichos diverted his attention ofr a split second, glancing at the huge painted symbol on the Dreadnaught. The Dreadnaught was part of a Pirate syndicate!

Nichos swerved upwards 60 degrees narrowly avoiding a wall of laserfire. These pilates weren't bad. Nichos turned his ship around to face one Ugly head on. He slowly locked onto his target and pressed the trigger. The bolts were absorbed by the Ugly's shield. Nichos jerked his ship left to avoid collision.

"So that's why the Force led me here," He thought.

Nichos swerved his ship 180 degrees around to face the Ugly flying away. He released a hailstorm of laserfire, managing to knock out the rear deflector shields.

The red light on the side of his control panel began to flash. An Ugly behind him opened fire. Nichos' shields were depleted to 20% before he managed to maneuver himself out of harm's way. Looking out of his viewports and sensor screens, he saw nothing. Suddenly an Ugly shot past him. Nichos saw that another was advancing from behind too. He calmed himself, using the Force to guide his movements.As the Ugly neared, Nichos performed a magnificent swoop maneuver. The Ugly flew right under him. When Nichos righted his X-Wing, the Ugly was only a few meters away. The padawan pulled the trigger sending two proton toroedos for the Ugly. One entered the Engines. The ship exploded well out of Nichos' area.

"Woohoo! One left artoo!" Nichos shouted.

The droid replied with a snort. He reminded Nichos of the Dreadnaught waiting to see the outcome of the battle. Nichos snapped back into reality. A few laser bolts hit his forward deflector shields as the last Ugly passed by.

"Artoo, our shields are at 10%, apply more laser power and raise the shields to maximum," Nichos calmly said.

The droid told Nichos that doing this might not be wise. The laser power would drop somewhat. Nichos grinned at the reply.

"I wasn't born yesterday Artoo, I know the consequences," Nichos laughed.

His attention was brought back to the battle. The Ugly had swooped around and was unleashing heavy firepower on Nichos' X-Wing. The shields bravely absorbed them all. Nichos knew they wouldn't hold for long so he acted fast. Advancing towards the Ugly, he released a proton torpedo. Unfortunately, the Ugly dodged it. Nichos' shields suddenly went dead. If he took a few more shots, he would be history.

Nichos swerved around and kept his index finger on the trigger. He slowly moved it until he locked onto the target. He pressed the button, hitting the shields. He was using the Force to keep him locked on to the target. In the midst of the laserfire, Nichos aimed and shot his last torp at the Ugly. The proton weapon struck the lower canopy and ignited the ship on fire. In mere moments it exploded.

"We did it Artoo!" Nichos yelled.

Nichos turned his ship around and glared at the Dreadnaught slowly filling his viewports. His eyes opened just a little wider in horror. He had forgotten all about it.

"Sithspawn! Are we caught in it's tractor beams?" Nichos asked the droid.

Much to his dismay, the droid warbled out an affirmative. Nichos' ship was damaged and his shields were down. He did not attempt to escape, figuring they would probably blast and destroy him. Nichos reached down to his belt and unclipped his lightsaber just incase. He tried his comlink, but the bigger ship was jamming it. Nichos cleared his mind and closed his eyes. Using the Force he sent out a distress signal with coordinates. That was all he could do for now.

[Inside the Dreadnaught Death Wing's docking bay]

Nichos focused on the force as he sat inside of his X-Wing. He could see poutside, two pirates running forward, blasters in their hands. A bunch of pirates were assorted around the docking bay.

The hatch popped open and Nichos slowly stood up with his hands up. He let out a sigh. He didn't have that much time to devise a plan, so he'd have to play along for now. One of the pirates stepped forward and studied the New Republic symbols painted on the hull of the X-Wing. The pirate stepped back, keeping his blaster leveled with Nichos.

"He's a New Rep officer," the pirate whispered to the other.

Nichos smiled. They had not yet guessed he was a Jedi. Hopefully he could keep the secret from them a little while longer. He returned his attention to the two pirates. The silent one began to speak.

"A New Rep officer? Part of a convoy out to get us huh?" The pirate snarled.

"Lets take him to the Captain," the other replied.

Nichos slowly gave himself up. He left his lightsaber in the X-Wing and was unarmed. One pirate ruffly cuffed him and pushed him away.

"Captain Sevrin! Captain Sevrin! We have the prisoner in custody as you ordered," One of the pirates shouted from the lower bridge.

"That's great news. Escort me to his cell at once," the Captain replied.

The bulky captain climbed down the ladder and followed his minion through a maze of doors and hallways. On the way there, the pirate explained to the Captain how the ysalimiri had to be uncaged. They had discovered that the pilot was indeed a Jedi. The Captain seemed insterested in this particular peice of info.

Finally arriving at the quarters they had provided Nichos, the Captain waved the two guards at the doorway to the side. He took out his blaster and beconed for his escort pirate to follow him in. The Captain opened the door with his keycard. Out of instinct two guards inside raised their blasters in level with the Captain's chest.

"Arrggghhh it's me yeh nerf-herding fools!" The Captain shouted at the guards.

Both timidly apologized. The one on the right still had his blaster pointed at the pilot sitting on a cot. There were three ysalimiri clinging to the guards' shoulders. The Captain stepped in, pointing his blaster at Nichos. He took a seat.

"Hello, I am Captain Jorak Sevrin. And who might you be young one?" The Captain inquired.

"I am your undoing, Captain," Nichos replied.

"Big words for such a little man," The captain scoffed.

Nichos just sat there, disregarding the Captain and ignoring the questions. He tried to feel the Force, but he couldn't. These ysalimiri were weird creatures. Nichos' attention was brought back when the Captain shouted in his face.

"ANSWER ME YOU PIECE OF BANTHA FODDER!" The captain shouted, obviously irritated by Nichos ignoring him.

"I've had enough of this fool. We have no use for him. He's probably not even worth a ransom. Just kill him now," the Captain smiled.

The first guard set his blaster on kill. Nichos knew that his time was up. There was no more time to think of a plan. The guard slowly pulled the trigger, and as if in slow motion, Nichos dodged out of the way. Obviously not fast enough due to lack of Force powers. The bolt struck him in the arm. Nichos hit the floor and quickly dodged at the first guard's legs. The guard tripped, giving Nichos time to grab his blaster in the heap of limbs.

Suddenly the whole room burst into action. The pirates and the Captain barracaded the door and shot blindly at Nichos. The Jedi set the blaster on stun and shot back behind a cot. Another blaster bolt sailed byalmost killing him. Nichos managed to him one pirate with stun rays. The Jedi suddenly noticed a vetilation shaft behind him. Nichos thought for a moment that it could lead into space. He knew he'd be dead if he stayed in his current position a minute longer. Nichos blasted open the shaft and slid into it, bowing his head to duck another bolt.

Nichos slid down the shaft until he hit flat ground. THe daring Jedi slowly pointed his blaster at the ventilation shaft floor. He closed his eyes and shot. Nichos let out a sigh of relief. The cold open space didn't suck him out. He jumped through the hole landing in a pirate's quarters. Nichos looked at the holopic on the desk. This was the captain's quarters. What he saw beside the holopic both shocked and brought a smile to his face.

"My lightsaber! Thank the Force!" Nichos cried.

He pocketed the blaster and took his lightsaber. The jedi ignited the blade and watched as the gold beam shot out. Then Nichos was brought back to sudden reality. The ship was chock full of ysalimiri. He couldn't feel the Force. He'd have to use his instincts. The Jedi realized he was in a large ship full of pirates, with no Force. Much to his dismay, the door slid open.

Nichos ignited his lightsaber and leaped up onto the table. He pointed the weapon at the person who had just entered the door, slashing in mid air. The Captain walked in alone and pointed his blaster at Nichos.

"I'll have to kill you right here you nerf herder," He cackled with evil eyes.

The Captain slowly circled the desk, Nichos eyeing him, ready to deflect a blaster bolt. Suddenly, the Captain pulled the trigger. Nichos flipped backwards and smashed into an unexpected wall behind him.

The Captain ran toward him, shooting downwards. Nichos de-ignited his saber and rolled towards the captain, narrowly dodging a blaster bolt. He rolled right into Sevrin, tripping him. Nichos flipped upwards and ignited his lightsaber pointing it at Sevrin's neck. Before the Jedi could say anything he was thrown back into a closet door.

Nichos opened his eyes and saw Jorak Sevrin had smashed itno his own desk and was now unconscious. The ship rocked again. Nichos then heard the ship's comm crackle.

"All Pirates abandon ship! We are being attacked by New Republic forces! I repeat, abandon ship!" The voice screamed into the commlink. Nichos clipped his saber to his belt and disarmed the Captain. He had to save the man, even if he was scum. He picked Sevrin up and ran off towards the docking bay.

On the way, he met no resistance. All the other pirates were too busy with escaping to care about him. None of them probably recognized the Sevrin slung over his back.

Upon reaching the docking bay, Nichos found a suitable YT-1300 freighter. He used his saber and managed to pry the hatch open, later closing it with the Force. Nichos ran into the ship and buckled in the unconscious captain. He sprinted across the ship, starting the engines and revving up the thrusters. Nichos raised the ship off the ground and shot off towards the docking bay exit. The docking bay hatches seemed to have been closing. At first it didn't look like Nick was going to make it, but after throttling up to full, he blasted out of the ship well before the hatch closed.

Upon entering space, he was met with severe laser blasts from X-wings and Z-95's. Nichos opened the comm channel.

"Cease fire! This is Jedi Padawan Nichos Marr. I have a captive aboard. Please cease fire!" Nichos cried.

"Jedi Marr?!?! What are you doing out here?!" The familiar voice of Flight Major Vela crackled.

"Long story Flight Major. I'll be glad to tell you some time." Nichos replied, his voice sounding a bit more calm.

"I suggest you head for the Command Ship, Nichos." Vela firmly said, "Vela out."

Nichos headed straight for the Command Ship at full speed. He was trying his best to avoid the short battle.

Nichos stood before a large assembly of New Republic Officials. He was being presented with a medal for his bravery. At the same time, the New Rep was a little ticked off at him leaving the convoy.

After he had made it to the Command Ship, the dreadnaught was captured and most of the escape pods were retrieved by the New Republic forces. Nichos had helped eradicate another pirate group. Now he stood proudly, admiring the medal he was given. Nichos had bacta patches from burns and scars he had earned in the battle. The pirates had roughed him up a little, but it wasn't anything bacta couldn't heal.

Nichos was packing his things at his dorm in a New Republic base on Sullust. He would be heading for _______ soon to continue his Jedi training at the academy.

After saying his goodbyes, Nichos boarded his X-wing. He blasted out of the hangar bay and into the cold reaches of space.

"Artoo, set a course for _______." Nichos calmly told his droid.

The droid chirped in an acknowledgement. Nichos watched as the coordinates rolled across the screen. He entered them in and pressed the button, watching the starlines turn into stars. He was heading home.

"Yes Artoo, we're stopping at Obroa Skai. I need to refuel and stretch my legs a little." Nichos told his droid as his X-wing descended from Hyperspace.

Nichos had decided a bite to eat and a refuel was necessary. He had been cramped up in his cockpit or on a ship for days. He longed for the fresh air only a planet could provide. Obroa Skai seemed like the perfect planet oppurtunity.

He slowly brought his X-wing into the atmosphere and watched as it headed for a landing platform. He had gained clearance from Land Control only a few moments back. Nichos remembered how Obroa-Skai was famous for it's libraries and knowledge deposits. Nichos thought he could possibly visit a library here for a short while.

Nichos found himself climbing a ladder searching high atop a bookshelf. His droid and ship were in maintenance getting cleaned by New Republic workers.

He slowly read each volume of the books he had been looking at. "The Aspects of the Force...The Force and all it's beauty...The Dark Side temptations...I, Jedi..." Countless upon countless books. Some were actually the original copy. Others were just duplicates. One book caught Nichos's eye. He reached over for it, only to feel a sharp pain erupt from his back. Nichos slowly fell off the ladder and hit a table. Everything went black...

[Boba Fett]

The Mandalorian Hunter famous around the galaxy thought for a moment. The Jedi was such an easy target, for such a high price. Some Hutt had contacted famous hunters and told them of a 600,000 credit bounty on a certain Nichos Marr. It didn't take Fett long to track the Jedi down. The element of surprise, the greatest attack in a battle.

Fett walked over, placing his blaster back in it's holster. He bent down on one knee and grabbed the Jedi's face, shaking it. The boy really was out cold. Fett instantly had his Mandalorian Mandibles out. He binded Marr and taped his mouth shut. Fett reached into his pouch and took out a syringe, injecting Nichos with it. The liquid inside would assure the Jedi stay in slumber for quite a long while.

Silently, Boba Fett put away all his little "toys" and opened a window leading outside. He first pushed the boy out of it, and then slid under himself. And with that...they were gone.

Fett loaded Nichos inside his ship the "Slave I". He pressed a few buttons, powering up the repulsorlifts. The Bounty Hunter was quick to make sure he had left no evidence of him ever being on Obroa Skai. Fett knew how "well known" he was to the public, and this sometimes interfered with his work.

His ship slowly raised off the ground and blasted into space, having no trouble passing the Landing Check In Station with his fake clearance code. Fett reached space and blasted off heading straight for Nal Hutta.

[Leeloo Mina]

Meanwhile back on _____ Leeloo had heard that her brother, Nichos Marr, went out with a few other jedi. He had split from the group-- for unknown reasons. It wasn't like him to do this. She made up her mind that she had to tell Warren Azalin, his Master.

She found Warren at Yog's Bar and Grill, where she hung out most of the time. Leeloo told him about Nichos-- Warren thought it odd as well for him to just disappear.

The padawan feared something very bad had happened to her brother. Now she and Warren had to go help him. Perhaps the Force had guided Nichos away from the group.

Surely the Force wouldn't send him into damnation? Unless it was unintentional... There were so many possibilities.

A few hours later Leeloo was in her room, just sitting around slightly bored wondering why Warren planned to do

:: Sitting at his usual table Warren scanned the area, it had only been a few minutes since Leeloo had told him about Nichos' disappearance and he could still not believe it. He had asked everyone at the bar if they had any information but no one knew anything, how could a padawan just disappear and no one notice. Slowly he took one last sip of his drink as he began to head for the door, he would have to find more info on Nichos before he went off on some wild goose chase. Walking out of the Bar he turned slightly hoping to head to the Living Quarters to talk to Leeloo, he must have at least told her something. Suddenly a strange man approached Warren ::

"Are you Warren Azalin ?"

"Yeah I'm Warren, who are you ?"

"Well it would be dumb of me to tell you what I need to tell you out here. Do you know of a place where we may go speak in silence ?"

"Yeah sure, follow me."

:: Warren lead the strange looking Kubaz back to his room, he didn't know who this man was or if he could even be trusted. But obviously he had something to tell Warren ::

"Much better, Warren. Now my name is Cavran I am what you would call a spy of sorts, I have travel far to tell you the news I bring. I certain Jedi you know of by the name of Nichos Marr has been taken to Nal Hutta as a prisoner. I know not of his condition only that he is there. I hope you find this bit of info to your liking sir, well now that my job is done I have no more need to stay here. I shall let myself out, Goodbye Sir."

:: Warren sat there in shock, Nichos was on Nal Hutta and he was a prisoner. Quickly warren bolted towards the door and headed for Leeloo's room, he would need to tell her what he had found out if they were going to do anything ::
