Ah! I was thinking it was something to do with television because of last year when you guys (brits) were so excited about the Dr. Who bit they were doing. But a concert makes sense with what Droo is saying about them this year. Thanks!

Watching the Olympic opening ceremony, amazing!!
It really is, and the highlight for me has to be James Bond and Her Maj. That was a stroke of pure genius!
Basically the greatest thing. GREAT BRITAIN. YES.
I've been playing catch-up with recent movies that I've missed lately. Today was How To Train Your Dragon.
Right now I am an equal mix of and
Edit:
And I also just watched Reign of Fire. I'm starting to think that Christian Bale convincing people that he's good at acting is the most successful scam of the century.

Watch Empire of the Sun, The New World, Rescue Dawn, The Prestige, and The Fighter.
oh what a tangled web I weave
blasphemer!
can I stone him from the forum?
I thought he was pretty good in The Machinist.
He wasn't memorably terrible in The Prestige, but he wasn't memorably anything else, either. I've just been watching an alarming number of movies lately where he isn't all that good... and the fact that people think he is good suggests that it's either a really successful scam, or he's a horribly inconsistant performer.
It's like that, and that's the way it is.
I'm watching Alphas. And it's so good.
No offense Jace, but I'm assisting Razzy in stoning you and evicting you for bad taste.
Batman & Robin (on ITV2)
Hilariously bad
"Never leave the cave without it."
Enjoying the third series of Being Human. I love the old cast, especially George, who never fails to get me howling. No pun intended!
Limpics!
Snow White and the Scottish Thor.
Preparing to get my Glen on, yo.
Doctor Who, The Eleventh Hour
some episodes of Louis Theroux's Weird Weekends
Alphas.
Just watched the first couple of episodes. Seems like it's going to be a fairly standard format - a team-based procedural show with weekly character angst like House, CSI, NCIS, Criminal Minds, Bones, etc - but wrapped up in a cool superpowers premise. They've had some interesting practical real-world powers thus far, and the way they're showing the powers through special effects is pretty cool.
Season 1 only has 11 episodes and they've only just started Season 2... worth a look if you fancy something new to watch.
Edit:
Also, the theme tune is epic!
Unfortunately there's no full version of the song; apparently they just wrote 30 seconds specifically to use as the theme.

Watched Chronicle last night. Pretty good "found footage" mixed with super powers experiment. Not terribly great, but I thought it was very interesting.
