CORUSCANT
midnight, local time
Sasseeri smiled tightly at a fan as she walked through the Queen toward a turbolift. Tick and Tock flanked her, as they usually did, their pale Twi'leki bulk deterring most people who might try to get close to the prowling half-breed.
"jI just want a drrjink," she scowled. "jI suppose that's too much to ask. jIn my own place!?" As her voice rose a startled server popped into her line of sight, a glass with two fingers of bourbon on a tray.
Sasseeri snatched it and the girl vanished. Ever since finding out that her ... step mother? was on Cloud City asking for her, she'd been in a foul mood. Granted, that had just been twenty minutes ago. It had even soured the afterglow of a particularly pleasant evening with one of her assistants.
Downing the drink she held out the glass and dropped it, Tick expertly catching it and removing it to the side. Sasseeri stalked to the balcony that overlooked the upper gaming floor, fuming silently as she stared down with unseeing eyes. What would Sirraaithi want from her, anyway? Assurances she wasn't going to make a claim on her money? The old bat had already relinquished all her business holdings to Taataani, anyway. Sass didn't have any delusions that there was any inheritance coming her way once Sirra finally croaked.
Her fingers tightened on the railing. "Trragonji, pull up a vjiew of Cumulus. Locate Sirraaithi Meorrrei. Show me what she's dojing."
"Certainly. Processing...."
Tock leaned toward her, another drink in his hand, and also a datapad. Sasseeri took both and retreated to her private booth, curling up to glare at the security footage of the elderly Cizeri eating lunch on Cloud City.
