The First Nightmare of Many (OOC Recruitment)

Alright, with Helghast's return imminent, and the return of the Nightmares, as I can't think of a good reason to change the name or one better than that, I'd like to offer up to whomever to join.

What are the Nightmares and why would you be interested in joining? They are an elite kill squad of the Empire that hunt down the deadliest enemies of the Empire, using the highest end technology available, extreme means, and squad tactics. They'll have a very small independent fleet that comes with its own compliment of Soldiers and Agents. They are meant to accomplish the darker deeds of the Empire and are a place that monsters can be of use to the Empire still.

The idea is that most of anyone who joined would be relatively new characters that Helghast has recruited with long term training in mind in order to cultivate the newest generations of Nightmares. I'm going to have Helghast as the leader and then maybe two or three NPCs, not including IMP, the custodial AI of the Nightmares. I'll link the thread where I start to break down the technology involved. Everyone else that joins will go through some a number of training threads, simulated and field exercises, led by Helghast or one of the NPCs until the member becomes a full member of the Nightmares. From there, access to technology, entitlements, and so on will increase with rank, similar to like a player might by training in the Force or whatever else. There are only a few positions listed below of which the players would have a moderate level of experience necessary, so if you have a player that's already been in play and you'd like to bring them over, just hit me up with a PM or post below!

If anyone wants to join with a force adept, understand the Nightmares are extremely prejudiced against force adepts and Helghast takes sincere measures to ensure that force adepts are "controlled" to such an extent that they would have collars and kill switches to say the least. Force sensitive characters are welcome, and plot developments would be interesting as it becomes more and more obvious that the characters have Force capabilities. Note that while the Nightmares strive to bring every weapon and measure to the table, Helghast knows that the Force is ultimately more powerful than any weapon at his disposal which is why they take the most extreme measures to spread fear to all adepts that might be a threat to the Empire and remove as many as possible before they have the opportunity to become something worse.

Also, even as a sub-group of the Empire, and a cohesive squad, not every thread will have to require every member of the squad, so no worries about a squad thread being held up because of the absence of a member. And we're not just looking for the straight collar Imperials of the pristine public image, we'll take oddballs and outliers all the same!
