    The Seducing Dark (Completed)

After sending Razielle a list of instructions on how to find the place where they would be meeting that evening, Gav headed off into the young night for a long walk which ultimately brought him to a quiet part of the city, on the edge of one of the more upmarket regions. A sky of midnight blue spat a mild rain as he crossed the empty road to where a sign of red neon illuminated an open doorway. It was called The Virgin Ego and it was the heart of the illicit cult underworld on Iziz; talks of devil worshipping and taboo practises had reached the Sith's ears and intrigued, decided to have talks here with the vampire member of the Disorder, Razielle Shadana, and perhaps a little dinner, a little dance and a little fun.

Upon entering he was immediately greeted by a sinister set of stairs delving underground and as he descended, the sound of loud, ravaging music boiled upwards from the depths. Finally, reaching the bottom of the stairs, he was asked by a pale woman behind a screen of plexglass for twelve credits entrance fee and after paying, headed inside. The music roared angrily as soon as the doors swung open and his eyes first fell upon a chorus of naked women dancing around poles on either side of the doors.

He smirked and made his way inside; there was a sea of leather, black and red, but the patrons inside were barely covered by their risque garments and the flesh exposed was either tattooed, pierced or scarred; he evaded the bustling dance floor and made his way into a booth where he'd reserved a table. There was a silver candlestick baring three red candles, their light filled the alcove nicely.

She should be here soon, he thought, and after pouring red wine into the two metal chalices, studied the menu.

The Virgin Ego was not that hard to find, if one knew where to look. Standing across the street from the place, bathed in the red glow from the sign, Razielle paused before entering the establishment. After her talk with De'Ville, it had come as no shock to her that the Sith Master had contacted her to meet him here. She was eager to commence with further training, so anything that would speed up that process was just dandy as far as she was concerned. Even meeting him in a disreputable club.

The walk in the rain had only served to give her black hair a shimmery, spikey look. The droplets sparkled like diamonds on her cheeks, wiping them away she crossed the street and entered. After paying the entrance fee, Razielle descended into the club. She was forced to change her first impression. It wasn't that bad, once you got passed the writhing naked girls and into the secluded and dimly lit posterior of the place.

Leaving her jacket with an attendant, along with a threat of dire consequences should it not be returned to her in the exact condition she left it, Razielle looked about for the evenings host. She was informed that a private table awaited her and she was escorted forward to it. The flashing lights from the dance floor added a touch of drama to her entrance as she walked forward in simulated slow motion, courtesy of the strobe effect.

Sliding into the booth across from the Sith Master, the Vampyre offered a smile meant to charm. "Master Mortis.. tis a pleasure..." She glanced down at the second of the two filled goblets and walked her first two fingers across the table until she reached it, then slid it back with a grin.. "For me...?"

"For you, my dear." Gav answered. He was leaning forward a little, his elbows rested upon the table and his clasped hands pressed gently against his lips to mask his satisfied grin. He took his own ornate goblet and raised it to hers. "And please, call me Gav. Cheers."

A leather-clad waiter approached, he had a green mohawk haircut and a chain linking his nose and earrings, without looking Gav waved him off indicating that they weren't yet ready to order any food. Instead his eyes were fixed on the pale, sultry woman in front of him, his eyes were alight in her company, she reminded him of someone. He smiled.

"I must confess, my dear Razielle, that when we first met the hood didn't do you justice but then again, such beauty should be reserved to be witnessed by those deserving of it. I am honored." He enjoyed watching her reaction to this and settled his wine glass, grinning mischievously.

"Tell me, what did you come here hoping to find?"

Not just a pretty face after all.. Also good with words, okay.. Razielle ran her finger around the rim of her goblet before taking a sip. It was definately good wine, she hadn't thought such a hole in the wall place capable of producing something so fine. Once more it was proved how appearances were so decieving.

Resting the stem between her fingers, she listened to Gav's flowery approval of her feminine assests. She was used to such talk though and not a female prone to giggling and blushing. Raising an eyebrow at his true motivations behind such charm, she retorted with a grin of her own. "I came here to find a Master. Have I erred in my quest, Gav...?"

"Not at all; a master I am this is true, a master of the dark arts; but a master of something so fair and terrible as yourself? I have to wonder whether I am capable of carving an apprentice from a mold as rich as yours. I am an admirer of all things beautiful and I fear to damage a thing as fair as yourself."

Gav's warm hand fell gently upon Razielle's cold flesh, her hand had been resting gracefully on the stem of the chalice and now it rested in his hands. He ran his thumbs over her milky skin and grinned; it was pleasing to the touch and it had been long since he had touched a woman in such a way; then turned her hand and opened it, palm upwards. His hand took the steak knife from the table and ran it teasingly across her exposed palm until a thin trace of crimson became visible.

"Do you fear to have me, as your master, break your mold or will you embrace my teachings and allow me to show you things you have never seen, take you places you have never been and--"

He lifted her hand and gently kissed the wound.

"--Allow you to feel things you have never felt?"

Without missing a beat, Razielle retrieved her hand. The Vampyre scooted up a bit and leaned forward across the table. Sliding the goblets out of her way, she braced her hands, palms down just before Gav and lowered her face. Her lips less than an inch from his ear teased him as she whispered. "You won't permanently damage me. I fear nothing and no one. And as for what I'll embrace... you will just have to see for yourself, Gav..."

Sliding back a bit, she gave him a smile that was clearly full of secrets. She was not a girl to be played games with by an unworthy opponent. But it would seem as far as playing the game of innuendo and mystique, she had just met her match.

"And I'm sure I will for a woman who knows no fear is the equivalent of a man who has nothing to lose--" He raised his glass. "And the world to gain."

Gav drank, his eyes remained fixed on Razielle who kept her gaze upon him, confident and unafraid. She excited him and the thought that she may one day be his apprentice equally scared him. Would it mean that the bond which they had so quickly forged from flesh and blood be comprimised in the name of their educational endevours? He hoped not.

"Nevertheless, there may be one thing left to fear, my dear." He smiled. "We have not yet browsed the menu."

He handed her a copy of the menu and glanced over his own. Suddenly the din of the club became apparent once more now that he and Razielle weren't talking, he was no longer lost in her eyes or words but these brief bursts of reality were what keeps one from losing the last shred of sanity. The distant scent of sweat hung in the air and he looked across to the chaotic dance floor. The scantily clad drunkards.

"And not all that is available can be found on the menu, should it fail to entice your appetite." He nodded to the dancefloor, where the patrons were herded together in one spot like cattle.

She watched him, watching her. Razielle wondered what he was thinking. She was not so bold as to invade the mind of a Sith Master without prior invitation to do so. Not even one so garbed in the guise of indulgent playboy that it made even Razielle question his intentions. She was walking a very thin line here between what was real and what was all for show.

She looked blankly down at her menu. She hadn't eaten real food since her last incarnation as a Ghoul. She didn't think it was a wise opportunity to start now either. Not to say she couldn't..just that she didn't normally comsume the staples of normal people. It was an unneeded bulk within her immortal flesh. Setting down the menu, she slid her gaze to Gav's option two.

The crush of young, dark and jaded bodies moved with the perfect throb of the music. Most of the cretins would probably welcome her dark intentions. The others were so far gone on whatever the current drug was that they weren't likely to notice the soft puncture of her small fangs. But she would have to be careful, lest she imbibe the after effects of their stimulants.

"You go ahead and indulge your appetite. When you are done, maybe you'll be so chivalrous as to ask a lady for a dance and then I can further indulge mine...on them." Razielle nodded to the dancefloor.

"Very well," Gav averted his gaze and further browsed the menu before ordering a starter and a main course, then the peculiar looking waiter sauntered off with his order and the menus, leaving the two Darksiders alone once more. Gavs mouth curled into a wry smile.

"And let us hope this may be a night of many indulgences." He cleared his throat a little and sat upright with a hint of professionalism, brushing aside the chit chat and flirtation while he and Razielle moved onto business. "So indulge me in your past, Razielle, I would like to know every sordid, little detail to help me to understand what brought you where you are today."

Smiling, Razielle sat forward in her seat, resting her elbow on the table in a defiant show of bad ettiquette. She rested her chin on her hand and repeated the same tale that she had countless times before. But for some reason, she thought her begining might make more difference to Gav than the last few she had bored with it. "I don't know who my true parents are. But I imagine they were of great importance. I was adopted and raised by the former King and Queen of the sovereign planet Davora. My full name was - Princess Razielle Ilona Shadana. I was their heiress and only child until my sister was born to them, Jezebella. She is only my adopted sister but I love her."

Her former title no longer held any significance in the grander scheme of things, if she had run into any of her families supporters at this point they wouldn't recognize the Vampyre before them as the formerly cherubic and adored pampered royal Princess. "I was taught many languages, diplomacy, ettiquette, fencing, martial arts varying in far too many techniques to count... My only weak point in lessons was that Davora was not the most technologically advanced planet. That proved to be its downfall. It was unable to defend itself and was destroyed..years ago now."

Her violet eyes looked very lost in thought for a moment before she continued. "The royal treasury was off world and is solely in my name now. That should account for my extravagant taste and flair for drama. " She grinned and glanced down at her obviously quite costly blood-red leather bodice and pants.

"It started out as my quest to find those responsible for the demise of my birthright and homeworld. Now I no longer give a damn. I'll take out my retribution on whoever is foolish enough to cross me. For many years now I have been the apprentice of Master Saurron LeStat. Sadly, he is allied with the Vampyres of Roon, whose very presence sickens me. So I find myself in need of another source of knowledge." Tiliting her head to one side and smiling devlishly she stated it how it was:

"That's where you come into the picture, Gav..."

"I'm flattered that you have chosen me, your highness." Gav teased with an amused smile, his bright eyes staring over his raised wine chalice. He drank then thanked the oddball waiter when he arrived with his entree; it was a cold soup of vegetables and spices; and wearing an impressed look, dipped his spoon and sampled.

"Not bad at all, I'm pleasantly suprised." He offered a spoonful to Shadana but she politely declined so he went about enjoying the rest of his soup occassionally breaking the comfortable silences with a question or two. He approached her about her previous training:

"What sort of skills did you learn from your old master?"

And then moved onto more personal matters:

"And if I may be so bold, tell me about your past and current attatchments. Emotional attatchments, not professional."

But as polite as his wording may have been, the fact remained that this was not a request and already, with great subtlety, Gav was setting into motion the master-apprentice shift.

The soup didn't look or smell too bad, for mortal sustenance. Had she been in her other flesh she may have opted for a bite, but alas. She grinned at his mentioning her former title. Surely he could see how little it meant to her at this point? Sipping her wine she did her best to answer his questions in order. "Hmm let me see.. Master Saurron and I trained mainly with Vampyre combat techniques as well as with light sabers. She didn't want to talk too much about her time with Master Saurron, it still pained her that her Sire was with the others. Her eyes's narrowed.

Not at all bothered by his inquisition into her personal life, Razielle set her glass down and toyed with a lock of her hair, twirling it around her fingers and letting it pop back into a curl. "I have been married twice, with disastrous results. The first time was to General Jyanis Scorpion. We actually had a fine marriage until he abandoned me for the Jedi. We separated some years ago now.."

Examining the ends of her hair for split ends, she grinned seeing none - as usuall. "My second marriage is hardly note worthy it was so short. It was to Master Jedah Lynch. He and I just plain didn't suit."

A genuine smile, free of forced charm came across her features. "While I was married to Jedah, I made the acquaintance of Salem Ave.. He is the only being I have ever bequeathed with undeath. You could say I love him... but that would be putting it too mildly. Salem is my eternal companion and my very soul now.." She supposed it was not very keen for a Sith to love as she did, but that was just too damn bad.

"This Salem character seems quite a man. I'll have to meet him." Gav pondered thoughtfully then hid a mischievous smile by taking another sip of his soup. There the spoon remained, fixed between his lips in an impressive display of poor etiquette to compete with that of Razielle's leaning on the table. His eyes roamed about, staring at the ceiling in thought, then suddenly pulling the spoon from his mouth, continued.

"And Jedah Lynch; I knew him quite well back in the days of the Rogue Sith Order but it was with his apprentice, Havok, that I associated with most; a reputable Dark Jedi and quite skilled in the Sith arts if my memory serves me rightly."

Inwardly, Gav smirked, there was a gleam in his eyes as he thought of where he was back then and how he compared to his younger self; how far he had come along since then and he couldn't help but wonder how much would the likes of Lynch and Havok compare to himself were they to ever meet this day and age. Gav never took his power for granted, it was a gift and he intended to make the most of his blessings.

"Speaking of which, considering your training history, I see little point in going about developing your combat techniques any further. For now, at least. Tell me, Razielle, if there was one thing you would most love to do - one power you would most desire - what would it be? What are your deepest, darkest ambitions?"

Ahhh now they were getting to the good stuff! Razielle leaned forward as if she were whispering words of endearment to a lover, or so it would appear to anyone with the audacity to watch them. "I want to learn magic. Combat is fine against the weak, but magic will benefit me against stronger enemies.."

It was very clear she had some score to settle.. "Anything that I can learn regarding this would be just peachy.." With a grin she sat back in her seat and sipped her drink looking to the dancefloor. She was definately thinking she was getting hungry..

"Magic, you say?" Gav repeated, raising an eyebrow, his eyes fixed on the vampire. Then teasingly added: "Looks like we'll have to see about that, I don't know if there's much I can do to help you with your request."

Then taking a napkin, he folded it into a rather intricate pattern then dipped it in his wine glass. He caught Razielle's eye and smiled. Then held one end of the napkin, soaked red, to one of the candles and set it alight. It burned with ferocity, the flames quickly devouring the cloth.

"Shiruch ton peosechum aufecumet, du rucha."

And as the flame died, it revealed, instead of blackened remains, a red rose in Gav's hand. He tucked it into Razielle's black hair and held out his hand.

"But the time for parlour tricks is over, if you want to see some real magic then you will give me the pleasure of one dance."

Razielle watched him with equal measures of envy and fascination. This was what she wanted. This kind of power. She hesitated to tell him about her one and only encounter with magic. Her skill was nowhere near as controlled as his, having never had any teachings or training, it had ended with her dining room erupting into flames. She'd tell him about the book eventually, she was sure..

The words he spoke even somewhat resembled the ones in her tome.. How very interesting. The scent of the rose stole to her as he tucked its stem into her hair. "if you want to see some real magic then you will give me the pleasure of one dance." She'd give him more than one. Razielle was a creature of pent up passions and somehow she didn't think her Salem would be up for dancing, so for tonight she would enjoy herself with Gav. It was, afterall, only dancing..

"I'd love to.." She slid her pale hand into his outstretched one and allowed him to lead her out onto the already overcrowded floor. There was simply no getting around it. Even if he was to be her Master, Gav definately personified temptation. But then again, so did she.. Fortunately she loved Salem and was quite capable of behaving. But she was still going to have fun tonight. With a grin clearly showing off her fangs, Razielle slid her arms around his neck and stepped a bit closer.

Large speakers pounded out heavy power chords and deafening percussion rythmns which made the music innitially difficult to dance to but together, Gav and Shadana came up with their own sensual dance complete with pelvic grinds and plenty of skin contact. They looked like a couple who didn't seem to care who was watching them as they got down to business. Gav kept one hand on her waist and in his other hand he held hers until he turned her and moved his hand from her waist to her rear. Taking a firm grip he tilted her back and kept hold of a hand so that she could lean backwards far enough so that she could see the people behind her. There was a trio of men who had removed their shirts and their sweaty, muscular torsos gleamed as they danced wildly to their favourite songs.

"Well," Gav whispered into Razielle's ear, leaning in close with a look of excitement in his eyes. "What do you think of them?"

From her slightly upside down vantage point, the Vampyre peered at her would-be prey. They were definately easy on the eye, not that she really gave a damn, but it would make her charming them more interesting at least. She swallowed, already imagining their taste, her pale throat constricting with the motion. Two of them wold suit her quite nicely, but one of them was clearly on some sort of heavy intoxicant. The last thing she needed, upon meeting the Master she sought was to wind up on drugs.

"I think I am rather fond of the two on the right. The one on the left I find lacking.." Lifting her face back up to his and smiled devlishly. Although she was so far tilited back that she could easily touch the floor, Razielle felt surprisingly safe. She knew he wouldn't let her go. "Shall we go tempt them with our stunning personalities..?"

"Lets." Replied Gav, his predator eyes fixed on the burly, young men, and genlty he lifted Razielle until they were nose to nose once more. They shared a malicious smile and with both grace and discretion, made their way across to the dancing trio.

"Play along with me, my dear, and together we can enjoy our own three course meal." Gav whispered, taking a position behind Razielle he slipped one arm under hers and raised it so that her arm was above her head. He siezed her delicately by the wrists and pulled her other arm back and placed her hand on his backside. While this looked rather sensual and alluringly erotic, the position also pushed her cleavage forward a little so that it became the focus of attention.

"Now dance up against me." Gav looked up from the vampire's ear and smiled at the three men, giving them a 'Come and get her' look. They all seemed eager except he remembered that Razielle only wanted two of them and he reassured her quietly: "Don't worry, I'll take care of the third one."

"I follow...." Razielle understood exactly what was going on. She was being tested to see how far her depravity ran. Fortunately, it ran quite deep. With her bare back to Gav's chest, and her arm raised and draped around his neck she began to move. Her hips rocking to the music and her eyes randomly settling on the three she was luring ever closer.

Much to her annoyance, they didn't seem to interested in being lurred in by her charming eyes. They seemed quite happy to leer at her exposed chest. Primates... The thought was for Gav. Razielle dropped her arm from around his neck and slowly ran her fingers down her throat, down her chest, down the curve of her hip. She thought the first guy in front was going to go ahead and lose it right then. Sliding down Gav, she swung her knees side to side until she was nearly on the ground then rose back up and turned to him.

Giving Gav a wink she stepped back into the embrace of her first victim who made the mistake of grabbing her in a manner that displeased her. His clumsy hands immediately reached up to squeeze at her assests. Turning into him with a smile, she backed him up against the wall and it apeared she whispered to him. But when the apparent conversation had been concluded, the cretin slid down the wall and slumped to the floor. Anyone who saw him would assume he had consumed too much alcohol. That is, until they took note of the two tiny wounds marring the side of his neck..
