Abby, no
And I refuse to let you hear it. It sucks, and half the people who have heard it can't even understand it
I would make a better James Bond than James Bond, I'll have you know

*I* could understand it. The universal translator on loan from the Star Trek Experience at the Hilton in Las Vegas was working flawlessly.
How do you know?I'm the other half of the people.
I asked if you had seen my shoes, and you said you had washed your hands afterwards!*I* could understand it.

*smacks Fett* RCP d00d!
*groan* no......
I had something to say and then after reading half this thread (backwards), I completely forgot what I was going to say.
But then again, nonesense like this usually makes me forget what I'm about to say anyways.
And it really wasn't THAT important.
I speak "normal" American... no heavy East-Coast "New Yawk" or "Bastan" influence, so heavy (or even light) Southern twang, no "Hollywood/Valley" speak, not even a heavy Midwest accent. I exist somewhere in between all of those, in a nice happy medium.
Of course, to a non-American, I would likely have an accent. Just not discernable as any of those aformentioned.
I AM CANADIAN!!!! With a canadian accent!
I never said I spoke Valley Girl!!
Hollywood = plain non accented American, as you hear in most movies.
Well to me Figrin, Hollywood-American seems the norm, as it's what I hear the most.
I have a scouse accent and wouldn't know were to start to describe that to you. If you've seen Forumla 51 or the 51st State as it is also known, that is how I speak. Not like Sam Jackson though.

My misinterpretation then... by "Hollywood", I thought you meant the Southern California form of the language... which has plenty of it's own odd little coloquialisms...
I'd be interested to see if you claim of unaccented speak if true, though. I've met plenty of people whom claim as such, only to discover that they have a rather pronounced and noticable accent.
No insult intended... just curiosity.
I have no idea, really. From living in Oregon, strangely enough I'm starting to get a southern lilt.
Seen Lock, Stock? It's the two criminals, one with a big permI have a scouse accent and wouldn't know were to start to describe that to you
Fetts accent reminds me of this scientist I saw on the Discovery channel once
Most of the Americans I've talked to have some kind of accent; at least it sounds that way to me, since I hear nice normal Canadian accents all day
