I'm a fourteen year old female whose interested in starting up a new life in the Force. My friend recommened to come here. Is there a certain side I should join? She was a Jedi, so I'm kinda leaning towards them, but I'd like to here what each group has to say.

Hello Calhemia!!! And welcome to our roleplaying family.

There are two major sides here the jedi and the sith. I'm sure what they both mean according to the movies. Each side has a boarde where they post.

There are many other groups, like the imperials, gungans, bounty hunters, crimson bloods, young ones. Each one has its own board but I don't have all the url's.

I suggest you look into recent threads here to make your decision, also go to both the jedi and sith board to see what each has to offer.

I understand that. I do know that the choice is mine, and I know where each path will lead, but I want to see how fares those that chose their lifestyle. In the short time and many posts that I've been reading, I have already made my decision. If you would accept me, I would like to become a Jedi. My friend did not lie when she said you were the group that cared about each other the most and the goodness you have brought. The serenity and wisdom I have seen in some Jedi masters and knights is what I search for. Is there anyone I can talk to to be recruited?

To ask when unsure is a sign of wisdom. Why blindly rush into the unknown and make choices we may regret in the future?

Either choice represents hardships. One path is easy and you will obtain power fast - but the tradeoff will be fear, anger, loniness. It eventually leads to destruction, but until that point you will have much power and be feared.

Other other path is hard and narrow. Many fall from it. You may too. But, on it is calm, peace, knowledge. True enlightenment is yours if you take the narrow path. You will be powerful and respected eventually but it will be hard, I shall not deny.

How you know I tell the truth? You dont. But all I can offer you is this - The dark Side is full of deceit and lies. If you trust what I say, then that is because of my word as a Jedi.
