Attack on New Republic R&D Platform..

*Captain Rifk stands on the bridge of the Sunrise, constantly receiving reports about new findings. Finally, he got what he was waiting for.

A lieutenant walked up to him, "Sir, we've found the plans and information."

Rifk's eyes went wide, "You have? Send them to my office. Tell noone."

"Yes, Captain."

After carefully examining the plans, Rifk new he had found what he was looking for. The plans and information so far on the New Republic SMC-200.

Quickly, the plans and information about the SMC-200 and other projects are taken to the Manticore. Almost instantly, the Star Destroyer leaps into hyperspace, carrying all the secret data. Its destination: the newly completed Argus Battle Station. The Akaga and the Dictator stay behind to guard the station.*

The fleet sends a transmission to Admiral Ackbar:

"The Sunrise Space Platform at Bonodan has been captured by URSF. Important data for research and development of the new Cruiser model MC-200 is in danger of being stolen. The situation is critical.. help is needed!"

*A few minutes later, Hail Cloud 1 & 2 and Blizzard 1 & 2 jumped to hyperspace..*

*Meanwhile, at Bonadan, the frigates Akaga and Dictator sit motionless along side the Sunrise. Captain Rifk has returned to the Akaga to oversee the protection operation.*

Small adjustments to the course are done enroute to Bonodan. The stars blazed by as blured streaks of light..

"We will arrive in 2 minutes, General Madine.."

:: Back on The "Icaro" Ackbar is surveing some repairs done to the main fleet after the battle of Bespin. His comm bleaks furiosly, he picks it:

"Hmmm,Bonadan. That's 10 days away from here, what's close in the corporate sector that can help" ::Promptly Ackbar sits on a terminal, a list of possble reinforcements is print::

"Here it is MC-90 Hurricane, MC-80 Blizzard and the Corvettes Cyclone 1 and 2 will do the job" :: Ackbar shouts some ordrs to his crew, the small force will arive in 1 minute ::

*There is a flash of light and the New Republic ships jump from hyperspace. Pilots scramble to their fighters and the frigates begin to move into position.*

::looks over his battle weary pilots::

Okay boys, we've been upgraded, today we fly E-wings. Lets show those Sith scum what it means to fly!

(The words seem to work and the attitude of the men seems to brighten conciderably)

Okay, now I want you to stay in pairs out there. Grey 1&2, 3&4, 5&6, 7&8, 10&11, 9, you're with me. Stick close to you're partner. If you're moving in on one of the capital ships, one of you will concentrate on it while the other keeps any fighters at bay. Lets stay sharp, and stay safe, I don't want anyone doing anything foolish.

Madine shouted orders over the battlestation speakers as the taskforce jumped out of hyperspace..

"All fighters lock enemy targets and approach attack vectors.. cruisers move toward those frigates.."

[General Scorpion]

*The Captain stares wide-eyed and begins to shout orders, "All Daggers return to your ships! TIE Advanced, hyper out of here immediately! Coordinates have been downloaded! Retreat. I repeat. Retreat."

The frigates slowly turn, while shuttles and transports, filled with soldiers and their New Republic prisoners, launch from the Sunrise and move to the hyperspace point.*

:: Right after the cruisers exit hyperspace a small 12 man vessel exited one of the hangars, escorted by a squadron of X-wing the ship landed on the main hangar on the R&D Platform. With no time to loos boricua open the hatch to be greeted by a shower of laser, one of his men fell lifeless to the floor. Boricua ordered for his body to be taken to the back. After that he did a quick survey of the room and decided the north corridor was the fastes way to the control room were he thought the Imps were hiding. Using the force Boricua scrambled the minds of the closer troopers, making them an easy target for his 10 elite commandos. Once the room was semi clear they left their cover and exited hiding behind 4 metal crates. Slowly and using all kinds of weaponry they managed to disalbe all security on the hangar, with Boricua in front the small team move through the north corridor ::

*The rest of the crew evacuate in the last shuttle. The other transport enter hyperspace, followed by the TIE Advanced. The shuttle spins once it exits the platform hangar and quickly enters the Dictator's. The two frigates jump into hyperspace.*

Grey Wing, concentrate all your attention on that Super Star Destroyer! Arm your ion cannons and target the shield generators. Remember what I said before.

Grey 9, I'm going to put my shields double front, watch my back.

::throttles up and heads towards the SSD with the rest of Grey Wing::

:: Inside the orbithing platform Boricua reaches the command room, to find it empty. It seems all enemy forces have retreated. Suddenly attack alarms go off announcing the arrival of 5 new hostile ships. They weren't USRF's forces but Tala's. Not time wasted the 11 NR commando's got on the turbolaser batteris and boricua took charge of the ion cannon ::

"Direct all firepower to that SSD's. We should be able to destroy it like we did on Endor."

:: Hit after hit the shields from the SSD's begin to shrink. Now only working to 50% capacity::

"Attack that SSD!"

The MC-80 BLizzard 1 and Blizzard 2 splits off in two directions, and approaches the SSD from two different angles.. starboard and the port side, flanking the ship from two sides. The two cruisers fire all cannons at the shield generator and the bridge...

::shellspark speeds towards the SSD at full throttle, ahead of him, two E-wings explode, victims of a furious barrage of fire from a quartet of TIE Defenders::

Grey 9, continue you're attack run. Grey 5, 6, 2, help me with these Defenders. The rest of you, go in with torpedos, it looks like we're getting some unexpected help from the platform.
