Dar'Kal'arth Part 1: The Resurrection (private)

[Garrett Felth]

*Garrett Felth took several seconds to register Live Wire's reply - taking into account what his friend Garrett Blade had previously told him about the resurrection process. He then looked around the immense cavern and took a deep breath...*

Garrett Felth: "RUN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"

Gav Mortis: "WHAT!?!?!?!?!?"

Garrett Felth: "Run for your @#%$ lives!"

Lady De'Ville: "What for!?!?"

Garrett Felth: "In order for Garrett to be resurrected, the exact same conditions of his death must be re-created. And you say he blew himself up!?! That means that we have mere seconds before this place lights up like an Aldorian Sandworm with Krappsoltius worts on its back!!"

Lady Vader: "Say what!!!!!"

Garrett Felth: "This place is gonna blow any second!!!!!!!!!!"

*The group stare at each other in disbelief whilst simultaneously edging away from the altar which is now vibrating violently. Lady De'Ville looks towards her Master and at Garrett's body - indicating that maybe they should get him. But Felth looks at her suggesting that it is neccessary not to move him now. The group race towards the entrance to the great hall. As they do - the fire which earlier lit up the shrine seems to ignite itself once again and follow the group out of the cave. As the group are within several metres of the exit, Lady De'Ville slows down to a halt and turns round to catch a glimpse of the altar once more. As she does so her Master shouts to her, and she libelly acknowledges as her master runs into the darkness of the underground tunnels. Before Lady De'Ville turns to take her leave - she saw down the other end of the tunnel - in all its dark glory - the altar blazing that same blue fire, and suspended above it the lifeless body of Garrett Blade...itself glowing with the incandescent flames of death. She quickly turned round - her cloak wafting in the air - and she speeds off at an incredibly speed - making haste all the way as she catches up to the others. As the fleeing group exit the tunnels and are greeted by the almost-blinding sun - they look behind themselves, only to be greeted by a ball of fire making its way towards them at an alarming rate!!!!!*

Gav Mortis: "HIT THE DECK!!!!!!!"

*As the group dive to the floor - the flaming stream soars over their heads and exhausts itself several metres away from them. As they stand up - their hair singed slightly - they once again fall to the floor as the caves they just came from errupt in fire and smoke and explosions and rocks and melted adamanphorite - the explosion almost deafens them. They stand up once again - slightly shaken by recent events. After several minutes of getting their senses together - the group begin to retrace their steps - as best they could - to the approximate site of the hall. As they find the site once again - the unexpected occurs!! The rubble surrounding them begins to vibrate and animate upwards. In mere seconds the grand shrine is once again whole and the blue flames once again light up the walls. As they near the altar they can still see the lifeless body of Garrett Blade. Then - the body sits up and stuggles to its feet...and in a weak though very grateful voice....Garrett Blade looks over to his friend...*

Garrett Blade: "I thought you guys would never make it!!!"

*As Garrett takes a few struggling steps down from the altar - he looks at each of his friends and smiles contently - then collapses to the ground - unconscious...*

[Lady DeVille]

*Seeing Blade for the first time alive, De'Ville feels strange. Not in a good way, and not in a bad way, but just...strange. Her arm has stopped bleeding, and her cloak is singed badly from the explosion. Live Wire rushes to Garrett Blade, and cradles his head in her lap*

[Lady Vader]

*LV get's up from her prone position and helps LD up*

LV: You alright LD?

*LD nods her head slowly, not taking her eyes off of Garrett Blade*

*LV pats her back softly, and leads her towards where LW has Garrett Blade's head cradled in her lap... the others follow*

[Garrett Felth]

*As the group help Live Wire with Garrett Blade, Felth produces a transmitting device from his pocket and keys in a series of buttons. A few moments later a repulsorlift stretcher zooms out of the dark cavernous network and stops a few feet away from Felth*

Garrett Felth: "Lets get him onto the stretcher so that we can get him to our shuttle and get the hell off this godforsaken rock!"

*Live Wire and Lady Vader carry Garrett's unconscious body over to the stretcher and lay it on top. Whilst Gav Mortis and Banestone each carry one of Garrett Blade's pet Tuk'ata's. Lady De'Ville takes hold of the acid-etched swordblade belonging to Garrett and attaches it to her utility belt - and follows the group out of the shrine*

*As the group reach Balmorra Starport they are stopped by a traffic warden who asks them to step out of the vehicle. Garrett Felth and the others reluctantly obey. As they stand to the side of the road, the warden peers into the speeder to see Garrett Blade still sprawled on the stretcher. He then coughs twice - simultaneously lifting his coat slightly to reach into his pocket. Immediately Gav notices a blaster pistol attached to his belt and, reaching out with the force, senses the intentional purpose of the energy weapon. Gav pulls the blaster towards him and grabs hold of it. He clenches his fist extremely hard around the weapon which instantly errupts into flames and melts. As the molten metal burns his hand to no avail, Gav senses another being to the rear. He immediately spins around and hurls the molten metal into the approaching Rodians face. Then - the group are ambushed by a dozen or so beings with blasters and vibroblades. A fight commences - with the Sith parrying every single blaster bolt away from their targets and the Felth brothers and their ensign returning fire. In the ensuing chaos, a Rodian manages to flank the group and get into the speeder via the other door. Once inside - he injects a syringe into Garrett Blade's neck and begins to extract a sample of his blood. By the time Gav Mortis notices the Rodian it is too late - the theft is complete and the Rodian escapes into a waiting speeder. The other gang members take their leave as well. As the group enter the starport and board theur shuttle with haste - the notice Klathurba the Hutt boarding another vessel - accompanied by a Rodian carrying a medical kit. Soon the shuttle as docked with the Vindictus and the group are all on the bridge, apart from Garrett who is resting in the medical bay. A comm channel is opened with Dax's Bulwark Battlecruiser - signaling it to hyperjump back to FWA Headquarters. The group are discussing various things about what has happened since they arrived in system...when Garrett Felth intervenes...*

Garrett Felth: "Right - lets get the hell out of here then! Take us out of orbit Mr Busher!"

*The young ensign is not listening, but instead babbling on to an un-interested Lady De'Ville about something completely irrelevant. His commander repeats himself...*

Garrett Felth: "Take us out of orbit Mr Busher!!"

"Take us out of orbit Mr Busher!!!!!"

"Take us out of orbit Mr Busher!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"

*Felth develops an angry look on his face...*

*The officer jerks backwards at the sound of the angry voice and immediately runs over to the astrogation console and keys in the pre-set co-ordinates.....seconds later and the stars become starlines - and the ship entered hyperspace.....

OOC: And so plays the star wars orchestral!! LOL!!
