"I would if I were fleeing," Pierce's lip twitches as Renegade begins to angle in towards the shuttle. It appears to be a modified luxury yacht- notorious for durability and hidden weapons, but not exactly the fastest craft in the galaxy.

It figures that the Senators would be escaping aboard something that embodies their lifestyle.

As Fallen Angel nears the enemy craft, Tondry gets a better read on it's make. The model is an Ubrikkian one, and Ubrikkian vessels range from decent and capable to above average. No known weaknesses, really, and this vessel appears to be sporting highly upgraded shields and several heavy turbolasers.

A nice little fight would put him in a good mood anyway, though.

"I'll get on the guns," Pierce says, unstrapping himself from the copilot's chair. "If you can keep us clear from their fire, I can disable that thing."

Renegade has apparently been reading their shield output himself, for a look of concern crosses his face. "Is that possible with this thing?"

Pierce chuckles. "Kid, when I'm involved, anything's possible. Just tell me how to get to gunnery and we'll make it happen."

:: The quiet graveyard is disrupted suddenly, as the sound of the engines of the Dauntless fill the air. Piloted by R27, the YT-2400’s landing struts lower and it sets down, about 15 meters from the excavation crew, crushing a few miscellaneous headstones beneath its weight. The boarding ramp lowers and the humming of the engines fades, as the ship awaits its cargo. ::

**It seemed like it was finally over... after 3 more days of minor scurmishes with pockets of resistance the planet of Bakura was firmly in the hands of TSE... Sums was recieving the final messages from his teams and sending back basic instructions... everyone was to meet at designated areas for extraction back to the fleet if they did not have their own personal ships on the ground... All of the Sith acknoledged and began preparing to head home... Sums turned to his comm officer and asked the same question he had been for the past couple days...

    Anything from him yet???

    Comm: No sir...

Damn... I'm going to have Renegade's head for this one... he better be thanking the maker that i can't fry his ass...

    **Sums sighs**

Okay, send a message to the fleet to listen for anything from him and then start packing up... i'll use the SE net from now on...

    Comm: Yes sir...

**The officer sent out the message and began to start packing things up... Sums got up and walked out of the temporary command center that he had spent what felt like an eternity in... Dusk was beginning to fall as Sums walked up to the top of a nearby hill and surveyed the planet that he had just helped to capture... unclipping a pair of micro-binocculars with light amplification off his belt he started to scan the horizon looking for something... when he finally stopped on what he was looking for he smiled... sitting on the ground was Dauntless... just beyond watching some troopers digging where Dale, Ogre and Kat... replacing the binocculars on his belt Sums keyed the throat mike that he was wearing on this mission instead of his helmet...**

Lordess Dalethria, this is Summoner... I am pleased to report that Bakura is now in the hands or The Sith Empire... I have ordered all of the troopers no longer needed to prepare to return to the fleet... the remaining Empire members on the groud will also be leaving... I will await further orders before departing myself...

**Sums stands and watches the last of the sun slide under the horizon as he waits for a response...**

The Sith casts quick glances between the ship outside and Pierce. Never before having seen Pierce in action, he doubts his ability somewhat. Pierce's over confidence only adds to the doubt. The Sith begins thinking to himself.

This guy seems pretty sure of himself. Although he did know how to find the shuttle. Maybe he has reason to think highly of his abilities

The Sith turns to face Pierce with a little uncertainty showing on his face.

" Alright. Just head back down the hallway about 19 feet or so and you'll see a ladder. Go up into the pod and you'll have control of the lasers, ion and the missiles. You disable them and nothing will touch us. Don't screw this up. "

Without awaiting a response, the warrior turns his attention back to piloting the shuttle. He reaches out and casually flicks a switch disengaging the SLAMs. He adjusts the speed of the Fallen Angel and comes in behind the shuttle.

"They don't need me... I'm not doing much anyways...

*Despite being almost certain that the senate chambers were deserted, she stays on her guard, not willing to be caught off it.*

Ogre looked at Dale and calmly answered with a smile. “It may have been the Sniper who had it fixed, seemed he had quite the vested interest in it when we met.” Before Dale could respond the roar of the Dauntles’ engines filled the air and Ogre turned to watch it land. He then looked back to the troopers and saw that they were almost done with the excavation, as now the top of the coffin could be seen.

Ogre sternly ordered the troops. “Don’t forget, even a simple scratch and it will mean your end.” The troops looked up at him and would most likely show their fear in their faces, if it weren’t for their helmets hiding their features beneath.

The troopers went about the business of lifting the coffin from its place, slowly and carefully, very aware of Master Ogre’s intentions if anything went wrong. Once they had it out, three of them formed up on each side and looked to Ogre. “Where did you want us to take it Sir?” Ogre replied quickly and pointed a clawed finger at his ship, just a short distance away. “There!”

The troopers began to move with it held by the group, around the three Sith they went, navigating through the rubble of shattered stone and foliage, from the battle this land had seen. As they moved away from Ogre, Dale, and Kat, one of the troopers in the back, stumbled over a piece of a headstone and lost his grip on the coffin. He fell to the ground and the corner of the coffin landed on top of him as the rest of them struggled to keep it from hitting the ground.

**A chorus of cheers arose from the bowels of The Nuriko as Cureatz informed the crew that the battle was over... all of the Bakuran vessels had either been destroyed or were in the proccess of being captured... all but that single capital ship that had escaped early in the campaign... Cureatz was smiling as he turned to the senior fighter commanders...**

Well done gentlemen... my final orders are this... do NOT inform you squadrons of any losses till we return to HQ... let them enjoy the victory...

**The commanders all nodded as they thought of those that were lost... there hadn't been many but they all knew that even one was to many... Cureatz gave them some final orders before dismissing them... for the first time in the battle he left the command deck and walked over to the tactical station and up behind the young ensign that had been there for the better part of the last three days...**

    Report...

**The ensign not not realizing that he was there almost jumped out of his chair as Cureatz spoke...**

Tac: Sir there are no more active Bakuran vessels... capture operations on the larger frieghters and transports are underway, and the smaller ones are being tractored into the hanger bays...

    Excellent... what about Sentinel???

Tac: She's our sir... a repair crew has just arrived and says the engins will be back online within 2 hours...

**Cureatz beams with the joy of his captured prize and its technology...**

That is the best news so far... here are your final instructions before i order you to take a break and get some rest... Send a message to D ark Omen thanking Master Rai for the assistance and telling her that she can take D ark Omen and her escorts along with The Yamato, Caspian, Nerthus and Odin’s Fire back to the HQ... the rest of the fleet will remain here with us... second... send a message to Sentinel tell the troopers there to transfer all of her Bakuran crew to Aegir and that we are sending a skeleton crew over to take comtrol... as soon as she can jump i want her out of the system... have Balder's Lance accompany her... third... the remaining ships are to drop to status 2 and wait for the return of all troops and SE members... when they have all of their compliment back onboard tell them to leave the system... have the Aegir begin transfering her prisoners back to the surface so they can start their new "jobs"... then she may leave also... we will stay till the very end...

    Tac: Yes sir...

**Cureatz starts to walk away before turning to the ensign a last time...**

Oh... Good job by the way...

**The young ensign is lost for words and just smiles at the compliment from his CO...**

The Fallen Angel moves through space, slowly catching up to the senator's EVAC shuttle. The pilot increases the speed a little more, in an attempt to head the shuttle off, before they can jump to hyperspace. The Sith reaches over on to the control panel, and open the comm frequency, while thinking to himself.

Well, I'm in for it as it is, I might as well give Master some sort of update. Maybe he won't punish me too badly....

The comm comes to life, static the only thing being heard from it. The warrior adjusts the frequency and finally finds the HQ frequency. He clears his throat nervously before speaking.

"This is Renegade. I picked up a passenger from the planet and he's taken me to the senator's ship. I am in visual range now, and just about to engage them"

Pierce jogs through the ship's corridor. He passes the gunnery station by accident and turns around, making a mental note to familiarize himself with more ship types when he has the time.

He steps into the firing station's chair and starts flicking switches to power up the weapon. He sights the Bakuran ship through his scope and smiles. ' At least the targeting package is standard,' he thinks.

To get an idea of the range, Pierce fires off a quick couple of bolts. Satisfied with the distance, he targets the Bakuran ship's dorsal wings and starts firing.

The Bakurans wake to their threat as the first bolts hit their shields. The pilot begins an awkward roll while some turbolasers extend from the craft's sides. Pierce flicks on the intercom to the cockpit. "You got any missiles or torpedos on this thing? Because penetrating the shields on that thing is gonna be a little difficult without a bit more muscle."

The first blasts of lasers, catches the Sith slightly off guard. He keeps piloting towards the shuttle. He hears a voice come over the intercom system of the ship. He reaches to his ear, pressing the earphone in more, so he can hear better.

" Yeah, I've got advanced torpedoes and advanced concussion missiles there. You've got ions and lasers, as you already know. Also got a tractor beam emplacement that you can control, if you need it. Just remember, we need to capture it "

The Sith warrior turns his attention back to taking evasive maneuvers, as the shuttle begins firing back at us. A few laser bolts hit us, but are absorbed by the shields. Seeing the precision of my new found ally, a new sense of confidence swarms through the dark warrior. He flies towards the shuttle, a little more aggressively, attempting to get in a better position for firing

Dalethria looked up in thought as Ogre mentioned who could have fixed the headstone, "Tondry? That does make some sense ..."

She looked back down at the headstone. She carefully put the plastic covering around it. Dalethria turned her head at the sounds of yelling.

What she saw caused anger to swell so deep and so powerful that it was greater then her hatred for the Skywalkers.

    "YOU IMBECILE!!!"

Dalethria covered the length between her and the trooper that dropped the coffin in less then a second. Her hand unclipped her sabre and ignited in the next second. The third second, the troopers head was sliced off his body before he could scream.

She stood up, lifting the coffin off the dead trooper. Her cold gaze looked upon the rest of the them and Dalethria said nothing. One trooper on the otherside came around and nodded to Dalethria. She stepped back and he took her place.

"Clean the edge off. I don't want his stench sullying my mother's memory."

    "Yes Lordess Dalethria."

Taking a deep breath, Dalethria turned and walked back to stand by her husband and sister.

The three Sith stand and watch as the troopers carry the coffin onboard the Dauntless, the color of the flaming head as it burns flicking an orange glow on each of their faces. Ogre pulls a Data-pad from his pouch and begins to tap on its display surface, signaling the remaining ships and troopers to begin slaving operations so that this world’s economy and resources may become assets of the Sith Empire and can further their own growth.

Construction crews begin space operations on the construction of three new fourty kilometer shipyards, in an orbit around the planet, as the majority of the First Fleet of TSE orbits Bakura, making sure that no more civilians attempt escape and no outside interlopers get involved in the affairs of the Sith who now control this world.

Finished with his transmission, Ogre puts the data-pad back in his pouch and turns to his Wife and Sister. “I believe our business is almost complete here. Time to see to it that…” He places a hand on Dale’s shoulder. “…your Mother’s remains are returned to our home on Meras.”

Pierce searches through Renegade's controls, setting the targeter to auto-fire for the duration of his search. After testing several controls, he finds the one that controls projectile firing and retakes control of the cannons. "After I detonate these things, head for the shield emitter!" he warns Renegade over the intercom.

The first thing he does is make use of the ion cannons. He fires off several shots, a few of which hit. After the ionization takes what little effect it can against the armored vessel, Pierce lets off two salvos of two concussion missiles each. As they fly in, one of them is lost to a chance shot by weapons fire, but three will be enough.

When the first missile (now by itself) gets in range of the shuttle, Pierce detonates it remotely. The explosion shakes up the Bakuran shuttle, enough so that the second salvo manages to make it to the target.

Pierce remotely detonates them split seconds before impact.

Their effect is immediate, and impressive. The shuttle comes to a shuddering halt, then starts tumbling end over end. Chunks of armor plating and electrical wiring are spewed out from the damaged area, and a person in a mechanic's suit can be seen falling from the breach before it is sealed off by force fields and blast doors.

Meanwhile, Renegade has brought Pierce around to the shielding generator tower, no easy feat while the shuttle is tumbling out of control and firing weapons in a blind and frantic manner. With Renegade keeping his line of sight even, destroying the tower with the laser cannons is easy.

The instruments now show what Pierce already knows: the shuttle's defenses have just been cut in half. "Keeping flying around it," he instructs the Fallen Angel's pilot. "I'm gonna disable it a bit more, then we'll have it captured. And when we're done here, you can put me back on the ground. I've got some business to take care of down there."

"I copy," Renegade replies. The ship begins to perform slow loops around the Bakuran shuttle and Pierce pinpoint targets various weapons, comm arrays, and tractor emplacements before finally switching over to the ion cannons and dousing the crippled shuttle in crackling blue light to render it defenseless.

It hangs in space, motionless. Pierce chuckles at the fact that the shuttle's pilot managed to stop the ship's spin only to have it disabled. "That's it," he calls to the Fallen Angel's pilot, a man for whom Pierce has a new respect. "Get someone to send a detail and pick this thing up, because this battle is all over."

    Edit: Kant speel.

Dalethria watches Kat come back to the group and turns to look up at her husband, "Yes. No one better interfere in this journey or there'll be hell to pay."

Ogre nodded and smiled to what his wife said. He squeezed her shoulder in reassurance and walked over to the troopers, making sure another mishap will not happen again. She smiled watching Avagdu trod over to Kat and practically wrap himself around her legs. She blew out a breath of air, feeling the adrenaline return to a normal level in her body, her heart pounding at a more relax state. Dalethria finally recovered from what that idiot soldier did and could concentrate on her surroundings, sensing that there won't be any further problems with taking her mother offworld.

Dalethria eyes began to wander around the landscape, taking in the new sensations of being on Bakura. As a child, as Navaria, she enjoyed the peace and tranquility that this simple planet offered. Now, it brought a pleased smile to her lips that her information and lust for revenge was able to bring glory to her true home, The Sith Empire.

The hairs on the back of her neck stood on end as something was familiar. No, not something, but someone was watching. Trying to hide ... his presence. Yes, it was a man ... no, a young man who's innocence had been tainted. Reaching out through the distance between them, she knew he was hiding behind one of the larger headstones.

"Seath? So good of you to watch my triumph. I told you this world would suffer. I keep my promises."

She can feel his anger and it makes her high like a drug, the feeling so intoxicating. She sighed, "You despise me. Loathe me. Hold on to those feelings Seath, your going to hate me more."

Dalethria felt his fear and grinned. In a blur, she disappeared from Seath's sight and reappeared right next to him. She grabbed him by the collar and forced him to stand, "I have plans for you."

Seath snarled and tried to take a swing at the woman that killed his father. Dalethria didn't move. She only said one thing, "Sleep ..."

Seath couldn't stop his eyes from drooping or his body growing lethargic. His weight fully came down on Dalethria, but she used the Force to strengthen herself and carried Seath to the main area.

Unceremoniously, she dropped him before the troopers. They looked up in fear and stood at attention quickly, the dead troopers burning skull still fresh in their minds. Dalethria tilted her head and pointed at Seath, "He's special. I want him worked hard. Find a job that is suitable."

She looked at the troopers that were not moving from their spot, "Well ... what are you waiting for? GO!"

Two of the troopers went to Seath, each grabbing an arm and dragged him off to the main part of the city.

"You don't care what he does, just as long as he is broken." Dalethria turned and looked at Gaeriel, who finally had the nerve to speak. "Isn't that correct, Navaria?"

"You dare mock me now? When you lost your world, kneeling on the ground? YOU DARE?!"

Gaeriel made no move to stop the sudden slap across her face. She returned her gaze to the Sith in front of her with only the look of pity in her eyes. Dalethria stood there, wanting to kill her but she couldn't. That is what angered her the most. Gaeriel knew she wouldn't be killed and that made her feel she had some power over the situation. That is something that needed to be dealt with, but not today. Other things needed to be taken care of.

    "Another time Prime Minister."

Dalethria motions for another trooper to come to her, "Take her to where the other slaves are being rounded up. Make sure to have her at a safe distance from them. We don't need her preaching to the masses."

The trooper saluted and pointed his rifle down at Gaeriel, motioning for her to rise. She stood up with no other acts of defiance, but her eyes fell to Dalethria's. Both women locked on each other's gaze and they both knew that another confrontation was going to happen again in the future.

Dalethria watched the trooper leave and made her way back to the ship. Finally, soon, all her family would be together.
