Ginny knelt down on the rooftop of the strip mall, breathing quietly through an open mouth as she surveyed her surroundings. Teleporting here in thirty-three foot increments would have been exhausting except that she had rented a room in a nearby hotel, right in the area where the mutant assaults had been ongoing for the whole summer.

Granted, it was still a large area. But checking out random reports for weeks had built up her strength when it came to teleporting. She still was stuck with the same range, but she could string more 'ports together in a row before she got tired.

Anyways.... Ginny calmed her mind as her eyes caught a flash of movement and a bit of light inside a store kitty-cornered to her perch. The L-shaped strip mall was empty this time of night, and even if there as a night security guard they would carry a regular flashlight, not a red one. She pressed the Bluetooth earpiece she was wearing, dialing Cameron. "I have eyes on our target, kid. Great job."

It went unsaid that he would stay put and let her take care of the monster. She couldn't think of the creature she was stalking as a person. Ginny 'ported to the parking lot, lurking where the shadows were thickest for a moment before 'porting again, closer to the store where she'd seen movement. It was some sort of sporting goods establishment, and her prey had most likely entered through the stockroom door in the back alley.

Ginny bit her lip for a moment, staring at the glass front windows and doors, waiting for more movement. After an agonizing thirty seconds, she heard a faint noise, like the scrape of a boot, and burst into action. She threw herself forward, feet pounding toward the store, 'ported in a cloud of purple smoke and reappeared on the rooftop, still running. She stopped at the edge, bow in hand, arrow notched, and saw a familiar (from surveillance) dark figure in the alley.

She didn't hesitate, loosing the arrow toward the target. Then she launched herself off the rooftop, 'porting mid-fall and landing on the ground behind where Zero had been.
