Is the Stormlight Archive the Way of Kings?
Mistborn was terrific. Loved it. Loved the ending. Tried the sample of The Alloy of Law but can't afford it right now.
I got Wool from the iBook store so I'm into that now.
oh what a tangled web I weave
Yes, Stormlight is Way of Kings.
I've had that book in my bookcase most of the year... and haven't gotten to reading it yet. A very good friend of mine suggested it to me when we were in a bookstore earlier this year.
You read Cold Days already, right? RIGHT?!
The Dresden Files is so awesome. I got that book for my birthday and read it in under 24 hours.

This art is the best art
^ I'm gonna have to get you to recommend some New 52 stuff for me to pick up in the New Year. I keep meaning to jump on the bandwagon, but I have no idea where to start.
I only have Batwoman and Batgirl on subscription from DC at the minute, although the main Batman series is great too. The Night of the Owls arc that crossed over into most of the Bat-family titles was excellent.
I think most of the New 52 titles have gone through their first major story arc or two by this point, so I might try out a couple of other titles in the new year. Animal Man gets a lot of praise and I know I enjoyed the first few issues that I read. Likewise for Swamp Thing.
My friend has it ready and waiting! (Along with Labyrinth, Father Ted, Rocky Horror, and every Christmas film ever. We're having a 'get educated about pop culture'-themed Christmas. :3)
I've been on suuuchhhh a fantasy kick lately.
Finished The Way of Kings in Oct... (Which...I found out it's book 1...book 2 isn't written yet. There's supposed to be 10 or something when it's done?! I'm going to scream.) and loooveedd it.
Finished The Name of the Wind yesterday which...oh my yes. At least I can read the second of that one.
And just started the first Misborn book. <3
But let's be honest...I'm just killing time until The Winds of Winter.
I'm eagerly awaiting the last Wheel of Time book, I've been reading that series since I was... 14? It's been a long time. TWENTY YEARS ALMOST.
Pick up Brandon Sanderon's other stuff too. He creates the best magic systems in all of his books.
Elantris and Warbreaker are stand-alones, so you don't have to worry about waiting for the follow-up (Ssstormlight )
Batgirl #3
Gail Simone: your writing is magnificent.
Morning Glories #20
wowsa
Jumping into the second Mistborn book while devouring my way through various DC comics (Ohgod the art in Batwoman)
I read a murder mystery that I got for christmas, The Sweetness at the Bottom of the Pie by Alan Bradley. It was an easy read all told, and I finished it in a day and a half. I really need to finish my book of collected Tolstoy so that I can move on to the two Steinbeck books I've got.
Finished A Memory of Light.
It was exquisite.
