Opperation: Death - Target: Chandrila (Open)

[Dark Lord Rivin]

Looking across the rolling, grassy plains of Chandrila, Rivin watches the symplistic lives a small farming community. It was a beautyful village, like most of the many small scattered villages across Chandrila, This one was happy to live in it's own little world, with little to no cares of what was going of outside their community, let alone outside their planet.

This little village was one of the larger village on this planet, with a little over 1000 people living there. Under most cases people would just leave this quiet, peaceful planet alone, but this was not most cases. This planet was like a symbol to the Republic. Practicly unscared by the wars of the Empire, Rebels, or Republic. Many of there great leaders came from here, afew of them, including the great Mon Mothma, were from this Village.

Since this Village has such sentimental value to the Republic he will start with them. Late in the night Rivin had planted a number of proton charges through out the village, and Now as the sun pokes it's head over the grassy hill, Rivin starts his fun.

He reaches into his pocket, pulling out the remote detonator that sits there, and with a symple push of a button, a billowing cloud of smoke, ash, and flying projectiles takes the place the the small little happy Village.

After a moment of watching the cloud, Rivin mounts his speader bike, and zooms of to the Next village, only 15min away from his location.

It's not long before he enters the second village. The people there, now very awake from the resounding explosion of the neibouring village. Many of the people were screeming, or in a state of panic.

Rivin Aims his bike at a small crowd of people, drawing one of his lightsabers. He raises his bike's altutude so that the nose was aimed at the head of the tallest person, and plunges his bike into the crowd, swinging his lightsaber at the people below, removing body parts as much as he could, and removing the head of the tall man that took the hit from his bike at full speed.

he doesn't looks back at the carnage, though, he just contiues down the street, aiming for his next target group.

[Senator Thareena]

"Senator!" Toni ran into the office unnanounced, and Fa'un Thareena frowned, irritated with the breach of custom. Her aide didn't seem fazed, but scurried to her side and flipped a few buttons on Thareena's personal comm. "You've got to listen to this."

"You're my aide, but I'm not about to stop this paperwork just so I can listen to your favorite comm stat-" The senator stopped talking as Toni vigorously shook her head.

"It's back home, on Chandrila. There's some sort of attack happening, on our soil!"

Fa'un's breath caught as her aide managed to bring up the sound on a security comm transmission. "...all units respond, unknown assailant on First and Silver Sea Road... scratch that he's moved to Second. He's armed with a lightsaber sir, how do we -" Thareena turned down the sound, and pointed at her aide. "Get the govenor on the phone, I need to know if we know where this terrorist is from."

Toni nodded, "I also heard reports that there was a first explosion in a village about two kilometers from their location now." She hurried out of the room as Senator Thareena of Chandrila turned up the sound and steepled her fingers under her chin. It was a dark day for the Republic if enemies were attacking them in the Core.

Rogue Jedi? "Blair, comm the Jedi Order, see if they have anyone on Chandrila!"

She poked her head back into Thareena's office, one hand over the little micro-comm that was plugged into her ear. "Govenor Triest says he's already been in contact with the Jedi, and it isn't one of theirs. They have a Jedi on Chandrila, and they are working with the security forces now."

The second group of people start to scatter as Rivin zooms towards them. There is no way he can hit more than one with his lightsaber as he zooms past, so he quickly turns off his lightsaber and places it in his lap for a moment, as he casts out his hand sending out a large arc of dark force lightning, bringing 7 people to their knees.

Rivin Skids his bike to a halt, and hops off his bike, grabbing his lightsaber, and acctivating it again. He then runs at the 7 downed people, and with a few quick swings, 7 heads were then rolling on the ground.

He then returns to his bike as he watches a large number of people entering the village's community hall, looking to get out of the way the dark cloked mainic rampaging through the streets. Rivin opens the storage compartment under the seat of his bike, pulling out a fire bomb. He activates it and throws it into the hall Via the open door, then uses the force to colapse the portion of the roof in front of the door and windows, preventing easy escape as the building bursts into flames.

Rivin was then about to go back to excuting the villagers when blaster fire starts to rain down on him from a number of airspeaders. The airspeeders were filled with law enforcement, most of which were pointing their blasters out of open windows or doors and shooting at him.

Rivin puts his bike on auto pilot, using the force to work the controls, and sends it back to his ship, a small landing craft located off in the middles of the grassy hills from which he started his strike. All the while he is working with his bike he does his best to find cover from the deadly rain of energy comming down at him, using his saber to block any that come too close.

Once his Speader bike is well on it's way, Rivin draws his Second Lightsaber, and walks out of the narow allyway that he was using for cover, Ready to block the blaster bolts.

When he gets out of the ally he sees that the air speeder has landed and some security people are quickly converging on his location, others are trying to evacuate the villagers. When the Security people see him they open fire with another barrage of blaster fire. It is very clear that these people do not know how to fight a Sith.

Rivin has no trouble blocking or dodging all the blaster bolts. He does his best to deflect the bolts he blocks off into the crowd of people trying to flee the village, or at the Security people that are trying to free the people burning alive in the community hall.

[Rognan Dar]

What would be better then to have a small vacation while learning a little bit about the area and what they have done for the NR. Chandrila is a perfect place to do so. There have been so many great things, and no doubt people, that have come from this planet. Mon Mothma was only one of the great people to come from here and become a great leader of the Republic. Even before that she was binding people together to fight against the Emperor. Another name came to mind, though, he was not as famous as mon Mothma, was Admiral Drayson. From what he had read it apeared that the Admiral was a good and trusted friend to Andmiral Ackbar. Complete curiousity over came Rognan. Was it that everyone from Chandrila were great, wise people, or could it just be that generation was the perfect one to overcome the dark ruler of that time. These things were not known to Rog, but that was why he was here. To learn a little about history.

As he was walking around in the city and looked for what he hoped could be a library. He had neglected to ask the deck master if there was even one. So he walked up to man that was walking by and was just about to ask him where he could find a library when he heard a comm go off. The voice on the other side sounded frantic and angry. Turning his ear in the direction of the sound, he picked up that the man that was being commed most have been a security officer of some kind. And the news that he was getting was that a village was just confurmed to have been blown up. Also a dark figure with a lightsaber was killing people left and right in another village not to far away from the one that was destroid. Rognan ran up to the man and asked him what was going on. The man gave him a strange look before seeing that he was a Jedi. He then pointed down the road to his airspeeder and told him to follow.

The man, who Rog found out to be called Wesil, gave him all the news that he got, and some that Rog did not over hear. The flew out of the city with a few other airspeeders following them. The comm in the speeder went off and the same voice that he heard the first time was now telling all the squads that they were in persuit and gave them their cordinates.

Not to long afterwards, the small group of speeders came within visual range of the other airspeeders. Some were already landing and Rog could see the officers jump out and continue after the enemy. Little flashes of laser fire could been seen from the speeders in the air and even from the ones on the ground. "Tell your men to stand back. Their going to get killed if they are going up against someone with a lightsaber." Wesil relaid the message to the other speeder. But the men that were already on the ground were to late. For they would surely not be aloid to retreat back to their speeders.

They quickly landed and Rognan hopped out and un-clipped his saber from his waist and ran off to save any of the men that he could. As he drew closer he could see bodies on the ground, dead. Several of them were missing heads. Smoke was growing thickly in the area. Rog did not have to look far for the fire. For it was a great blaze of red-orange light and the sound of screams for help could be heard over the roaring flames. Blaster fire was heard in the other direction as the officers continue to take the man down. A hard choice was before him. Who was he to save and who was he to let die. There would be no way to do both, and a critical judgement would befall him for either one of his choices. But there was one choice that sang out to him. It was a horrible tune, but one that he knew he had to go with. Taking a deep breath he ran to the burning building. The front door was blocked by burning boards and beams. It would take to long to clear that out. And listening to the scream while he did such would forever eat away at his soul. There was nowhere that he would be able to get them out quickly. The whole place was on fire! But, could it be? Yes! There was a small section of the wall on the back of the left side of the building that was not burned as much. Rognan ran as fast as he could to that spot and turned on his saber. He then quickly began to cut a whole in the wall. When a big piece of the wall fell away, a sudden rush a heat over came Rognan, making him step back. People at once started to coming out, some on fire and others burned badly.

OOC: Sorry if this seems to long of a first post. I had to make up for all that has happened between the repeated posts. If it is to much action without a counteraction to Rognan's work, then let me know.

[Dark Lord Rivin]

Rivin continues to block the swarm of blaster bolts coming at him, but he looses his concetration when he hears the sound of another lightsaber activate.

Why can't the jedi just let me have some FUN! Rivin thinks to himself.

But it is not long before Rivin is snaped back to reality as a blaster bolt passes through his cloke coming unconfortably close. Though he really doesn't care about his cloke, he goes to play up the incident.

"YOU RUNIED MY CLOKE!" Rivin yells loud enough to halt some people in their tracks. "YOU'LL PAY FOR THIS!"

Rivin then, casts forward the fingers on his right hand, while his thumb holds his saber, sending an arc of Dark Force lightning at the security people. Some of them Dive out of the way, but most of them fall to the ground in pain. Rivin charges at the fallen security people, using the force to increase his speed, attacking and killing the ones that dived out of the was first, then killing the ones hit by the lightning.

Now that there was a pause in the blaster fire, Rivin reaches out with the force to find the jedi. Reconising Rognan instantly he calls out to the streets.

"Hello Mr. Dar! I would like to congragulate you on your premotion to knight! I hope that Vista is recovering well! She speeks very highly of you! Why don't you call off these guards, come out here, and face me like a Jedi in single combat!"

Rognan was in the building as Rivin was finishing off with the last of the ground troops. Many of the people that could not walk out of the hole he cut were still inside burning to death. Many were on fire trying to put themselves out. Some were on fire and alive, yet found no point in trying to beat the flame, for they new that they were already dead. Nothing could be done for those, which attack Rog's spirit, for if they did not try to fight for their lives in the face of death, who would? All he could do was carry out a few that were still alive and making their way to the hole. Rognan had carried out five people when the roof suddenly collapsed, falling on anyone that was left, killing them in a slow roast.

All the people that did make it out where making their way to a shelter that others had set up and some officers where directing and guarding. They all had burns to some degree, with pieces of flesh black from the fire or drooping off of the bone. Rognan was just about to follow the last one when he heard his name called from behind. Turning around slowly, Rognan perseived the site of a dark robed figure with two lightsabers in his hands. Walking forward he heard the mans comments about him and people he knew. Realization dawned on him at this was the man that took Vista, that was the cause of so many problems at the GJO and in his own life. Now he was out and about causing trouble whereever he could.

A airspeeder came up behind Rivin with someone leaning out the window just about to fire at the back of Rivin's head. Rognan mentally moved the weapon up, making the officer wonder what was happening. He turned around and called after one of the men escorting the victims to help with people, but to leave this fight to him. He then turned back around and stared at Rivin.

Rivin knew the speeder was comming at him, but before the man could fire at him Rognan diverted the shot so that it would not hit him. Rivin was mildly suprised, but didn't show it. Though Rivin still doesn't like people that try to shoot him in the back, so Rivin looks back at the speeder and with a slight nod, he uses the force to pull the nose of the airspeeder so that itis pointed at the ground, causing the speeder to crash at high speed into the ground. He then looks back at Rognan, though now he is back lit by the exploding Speeder behind him.

Rivin then slowly starts to walk towards Rognan saying.

"You have been quite a pain in my rear end Jedi Dar. You have been killing or arresting my thugs where ever you can. You put my first apprentice into hiding, which in the end caused him to be arrested. You have foiled my plans for my men to capture some of the belongings of a few students of the GJO. But this is not over yet. Talzen was only the boss, the apprentice. You now stand before The Master, The Dark One, The Crime Lord of the Molochean Hand. Untill now you have faced the easy fights."

Rivin at this point starts ot circle Rognan at about the distance of three meters.

"Do you have any Last words before you face your death?"

He had not expected to have the airspeeder go crashing down into the ground. He was hoping that Rivin would jsut let it go and fight himself as Rivin had told him to do. Now there was a few more deaths that he was responable for.

As Rivin moved in closer Rognan didn't move a inch, a little because of shock and the other because there was no need. He watched the dark figure as his voice filled the air. All the things he said trigured memories of events that he had no idea Rivin knew about. Clearly this man new more about Rog then he did about him. Rog had done so many things to stop Rivin's plans when he was just trying to protect his friends and take care of a Talzen, who he thought was behind it all. That must have been what they wanted. Now, the person that was really behind all those plans and problems was standing infront of him.

His taunts did not surprise Rog in the lest. And he new that what he said was true. Those were the easy fights, if he was fighting only his apprentice. And unless his apprentice was just shot of his masters skills, this would be a test of all Rog has learned nad then some.

"Do you?"

Rivin laughs as he stops in front of Rognan "I will not be dying anytime soon. At least not by the likes of you!"

Rivin looks to the burning building behind them and see that one of the other officers that was burried when the roof colapsed, has mannaged to dig himself out of the flames and was almost clear of the rubble. Rivin had to change that. He looks back at Rognan again.

"Let us see if you are as good in a fight as Vista clames you are."

Rivin Spins both His lightsabers in his hands as he nods towards the burning building, and uses the force to grab a flaming peice of wood that was holding up a large amount of flaming wood from falling on the almost free security officer, causing the pile of wood to crush the officer, and sends the flaming board at Rognan's Back like a harpoon.

[Rognan Dar]

Thats what you think.

Rognan watched Rivin closely, and saw that he was no looking directly at him. He turned slightly to see where he was looking and noticed the guard. He looked back at Rivin quickly and was about to do something when he heard the rest more of the building fall down. Right then his senses screamed at him. He could not have known what was coming, but something was telling him to get out of the way. He focused his thoughts on the force, drawing upon its warning. Then, with a step and a spin to the right missed getting hit by the board and watch it as it passed him by. Returning his gaze back to Rivin, he continues to watch and wait.

Rivin uses the force to tap the board, changing the path of the projectile that Rognan dodged, causing it to impale a woman who was running from the butchers shop where she was when he first attacked , to an airspeeder that the security people were using to evacuate the townsfolk. The flaming board went through the woman's back and came halfway out of her chest. As she falls to her side dead It can be seen that the board missed, but is now pinning the 6 month old baby girl the woman was holding to the ground, but holding up her mother so that she does not crush her.

Moments after Rivin alters the path of the board, He takes two quick steps forward towards Rognan, swinging his Left saber towards Rognan's right hip, slashing upwards towards Rognan's left Shoulder. Rivin's Right saber also strikes with a Thrusting jab towards Rognan's lower stomach.

[Senator Thareena]

Fa'un Thareena sat white-faced at her desk, partly from shock, but mostly from anger as she listened to the reports coming to her directly from Chandrila. Her right hand was hastily scribbling something on a datapad, which she handed to her aide.

Toni looked down at the datapad in her hand, and nodded. Find out where this man came from! "I'll do what I can -"

"Shh!" Thareena turned up the sound on the transmission. "...the Jedi Knight Rognan Dar has arrived on the scene, and is confronting the alleged Sith who has identified himself as one Lord Rivin..."

The Senator's lips tightened into a white line. I only hope that he is able to stop the Sith.

[Je'gan Olra'en]

Rivin, you fool...

Je'gan moved - invisible, mind-shielded, Force-masked and silent - through the carnage. His thoughts regarding his fellow Sith Knight were anything but charitable.

Couldn't you have restrained your activities to less obvious places?

Then again, he'd never held Rivin entirely in the highest esteem, even when he had been an entry-level Apprentice and the older man was casting Force-lightning at him. Perhaps because of that, or at least the principles behind it that Rivin seemed to flaunt.

And why waste your time on such things anyways? Have you no self-respect, no pride?

Overwhelming, unnecessary force; wanton cruelty. Je'gan, too, was Sith - Darth Shule by taken name - but with him it was always force for a purpose, cruelty for a purpose. Creating fear, to his mind, was a fair goal, but there were more effective ways to do that than the torture and murder of innocents. From what he'd seen, heard, sensed and mindtapped, Rivin deserved no respect beyond that due his not inconsiderable abilities.

Why, for example, would you do that?

A mother and child had just fallen not far from Je'gan's path. Rivin was locked in combat with a Jedi - Rognan Dar, as Je'gan recalled the name from the Order's GJO file. He'd actually fought Dar once, briefly; just before Southstar had taken him as a student, that had been. A worthy and innovative opponent - and by his Force signature, a Knight. If he could wait to save the victims of the carnage, he'd give 'Dark Lord' Rivin a run for his figurative money. Even though Je'gan and Rivin were members of the same Order, he felt no guilt over wishing his fellow Sith a challenging, stimulating encounter.

Somewhat out of spite for the other Darksider, however, Je'gan approached the fallen mother and crouched beside her. He reached out with the Force and with his illusion and extended both over the wailing infant. A soothing mental influence quieted the baby; unhooking it from the board and taking it in his arms, he headed away from the conflict.

[Rognan Dar]

Rognan didn't have time to see what Rivin did. For when he altered the board he also attacked. Activating his saber he parried the right lightsaber to his right, knocking it into the incoming saber coming from Rivins left, stopping his own attack with his own saber. Taking a step backwards, he heard a small cry behind Rivin and to the side. He now saw that the board that had his name writen on it was now stuck on someone else. The small cry was coming from a heap in the womans arms. But his attention was drawn back to Rivin and the fight. After that moment he never heard the baby cry again. And did think about it because he was to busy.

As his sabers were parried and knocked of to the side, Rivin does a quick spin to his right. Using the spin to add to the power behind his attacks Rivin swings his Right saber high as Rognan's neck, and his left Saber low at Rognan's knees.

While doing this Rivin notices the baby vannish. That really didn't bother Rivin, but he did see through the force that Je'gan was also there. He didn't get a good view of him, only a quick moment when he opened his illusion to engulf the baby. Rivin didn't have the time to confront Je'gan about his interfearance, but he would later.

[Je'gan Olra'en]

He moved farther away, behind a house, and appeared beside a villager, a woman, slightly wounded but overall in good shape. His mind reached out and soothed her fears before she could scream at his sudden entrance.

Take care of the baby, he said telepathically, handing the little girl to the woman. Run and don't look back.

He took care to ensure that his Force signature was still dampened, then re-worked his illusion and headed back to observe the combat.

[Rognan Dar]

Rognan was not use to fighting against two sabers. In fact, he never had fought against two at a time. He needed to sharpen his senses in order to perceive what was coming.

In the few second that it took to see the attaack coming and doing something about it, several types of counter attacks came to mind. But he did not use any of them. Doing a backflip instead, he landed five feet more ahead of Rivin from where he last stood, ready to block another attack.

Rivin charges forward towards Rognan, but as he is charging Rivin calls on the force to grab both of Rognan's feet and yanks them out from under him and up so that Rognan would fall onto his back.

When Rivin gets over to Rognan, he uses his left saber to guard ageinst any attacks that may be comming at his legs, and swings his Right saber Down towards Rognan's chest.

[Rognan Dar]

The sudden rush of ground vanishing beneath his feet shocked Rognan as suddenly he was on his back. He looked up into the face of Rivin as he came closer and brought his saber down upon him. He kicks out his left foot at Rivins right hand, knocking it aside. As he does this a sign from a building behind him snaps off its supports and falls toward Rivin. He then goes feet over head in a back roll and comes to his knees.
