WE BELIEVE! WE BELIEVE! COME ON BOYS, BRING IT ON HOME TONIGHT! :dance :dance
I still think it's bullshit that there was no penalty on that hit to Mason Raymond.
Both teams have gotten away with stuff in this series.
I would prefer the Ref's not call anything for game 7. Let the boys play. If someone gets stabbed, fine, call it, but other then the big obvious stuff just game on.
Edit* Canucks are at the fairmont again. Just getting back from their morning skate apparently.
GO CANUCKS GO!
Our WHL team had one playoff game where there were only two penalties called in the whole game and it was glorious. I don't think there was a ref whistle blown until the third period. :love
If anyone is going to be around and watching the game at home and would like to chat/voicechat, I am planning on staying up to watch.
Game starts at like 1am my time :x
We`re going to one of the downtown bars to watch, I think. Oh god, my stomach is in knots - I tried to eat an apple this morning and just dry heaved. Every time I think too long about the game, my face gets all hot and flushed and I feel dizzy. This is so big. Either way, I`m so insanely proud of our boys.
Don't have TV and can't make it to the bars tonight. Where the heck can I watch the game streaming? CBC is Canada only. :ohno
Provided an epic 3rd period meltdown....in the last decade New England will have won titles in all four major sports. Patriots 3, Red Sox 2, Celtics & Bruins 1 each.
Wow.
Its a damn fine time to be a Boston sports fan :D

Watching the aftermath of the loss... What a bunch of idiots. Feel like I'm watching the G20 all over again.
Bruins were the better team... Sad to see Vancouver fans using this as an excuse to be idiots.
To be fair, those people would be doing that if the Canucks had won, too. The loss is heart-breaking enough for Vancouver without those morons embarrassing the whole city.
I probably should be disgusted that all four of Boston's major teams have championships in the last five years, but I don't have anything at all against the Bruins. They played a thrilling series and are clearly the deserving team. Congratulations Bruins fans!
Fun fact pointed out by the NBC broadcasters: the last three teams to win a championship game 7 on the road are the Boston Bruins, the Pittsburgh Penguins, and the Pittsburgh Pirates. All three are black and gold. The colors of champions... ;)
I was heart broken as a boy when I watched my Canucks lose the cup in 94'. I'm a man now (debatable;)) and while I can manage a broken heart a little better it's still a sore memory to relive.
Kudos to the Bruins they played a good game. (damn that fat thomas.)
BUT I still believe in you Luongo! Still love my Canucks and I still love my city!
Oh, and I just got home from downtown. Watched the game on the big screens on the street. The people causing the shit aren't even fans. They're just there to take advantage of the situation. Punk asses. The rest are gawking morons or drunks wandering into the commotion.
We love you too, babe :D
Technically, though, if you count the MLS, we've got five pro sports teams (err, six, as I think there's a lacrosse team somewhere in Boston). Then again, it is the New England Revolution and well, we just don't talk about them 'round these here parts :p
Black and gold indeed :D I couldn't be prouder right now.
I know that pain well, believe me. I've been a Red Sox fan my entire life...and spent years hating Bill Buckner for making me cry in 1986 (I was all of ten years old).
Hey...you leave my Tim alone...*brandishes her Thomas jersey*...although, I do admit...I heard his style called "battlefly" this morning and I've been cracking up about it all damn day. The man should be elevated to hockey deity status as far as I'm concerned, and I'll take him over any other goalie any day :)
Loosing the Cup feels almost like a footnote compared to how disappointed and appalled we all are about the rioting aftermath :(
All's I can say is Vancouver loves her Canucks. And that hockey fans dont burn cars.
I'm still so deflated by the loss. We played so well all season... :(
